    Abstract: The present invention provides an easy-to-use and higher-sensitivity immunochromatography device for an RSV, the device using an antibody that binds specifically to F protein of the RSV in a determination region of a chromatography medium, a test kit by an immunochromatography method, and a method for detecting an RSV using these device and kit. The present invention relates to an immunochromatography device in which not only an antibody that binds specifically to F protein of an RSV but also an antibody that binds specifically to N protein of the RSV is solid-phased in a determination region of a chromatography medium. The present invention also relates to a test kit by an immunochromatography method, and a method for detecting an RSV using these device and kit.

    Abstract: A microwave providing device is provided, which is capable of effectively extending the coagulation range of a treatment target tissue by setting the conditions for intermittently providing microwaves. An output controller controls a microwave generator based on a first efficiency of dielectric heating by microwaves with respect to a cumulative radiation period of microwaves radiated intermittently to a treatment target tissue S and a second efficiency of dielectric heating by microwaves with respect to a cumulative radiation period of microwaves radiated continuously to the treatment target tissue so that microwaves are intermittently radiated at least after a reference cumulative radiation period that is set in advance as a cumulative radiation period at which the first efficiency becomes larger than the second efficiency.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a spacer for radiotherapy that can be easily compressed into a reduced thickness, and has a high capacity to reconstitute itself from a compressed state back to its initial thickness after removal of external force. The spacer for radiotherapy is a flexible structure having front and back main faces and thickness therebetween, and composed of strands of biocompatible and biodegradable synthetic fibers, wherein the spacer consists of (a) a pair of main face portions opposing each other with a gap therebetween and respectively defining the main faces of the structure, and (b) a linker portion linking between the pair of main face portions, (c) wherein the main face portions comprise a knitted-fabric structure or a weave structure made of the strands, and (d) wherein the linker portion is composed as a collection of linker strands formed of the said strands and respectively extending in the thickness direction of the spacer and linking the pair of main face portions with each other.

    Abstract: A suture needle for uterine hemostatic compression comprises at least one suture needle and a suture thread. The at least one suture needle includes a body portion extending linearly in a lengthwise direction and a puncture portion provided at a tip of the body portion in the lengthwise direction to be thrust into a uterus. The suture thread is attached to a base end portion that is on an opposite side of the puncture portion in the suture needle. The puncture portion is formed as a spherical surface that bulges toward a tip side of the lengthwise direction. The spherical surface has a radius in a connection portion with the body portion substantially identical to a radius of the body portion.
