    摘要: A data processor comprises a decoder for decoding the compressed data into decoded data while reading the compressed data from a first data storage, a second data storage for storing therein the decoded data, a DA converter for converting the decoded data into an analog signal while reading the decoded data in real-time, a first controller for controlling the decoder to perform intermittent operation by executing a process between reading the compressed data and storing the decoded data at a speed faster than real-time, a clock/power controller for making a restriction of power consumption of the decoder and the first controller in downtime of the intermittent operation, a second controller for outputting a control signal in accordance with the storage state of the decoded data, and an activation controller for controlling the clock/power controller to lift the restriction in response to reception of the control signal.

    摘要: Provided is a recording apparatus generating meta-information including an initial address of TS packets constituting a PES packet that includes an independently-decodable picture, and including size information pertaining to the picture, and recording the generated meta-information in a recording medium. The recording apparatus includes a detection unit detecting, from the TS packets constituting a transport stream, a TS packet at a head of a PES packet, and includes a judging unit judging whether the PES packet includes an independently-decodable picture. Further, the recording apparatus includes generation unit generating meta-information including, as the size information, a size from a head of a PES packet that is judged as including an independently-decodable picture to a head of a succeeding PES packet.

    摘要: When recording stream data, index information and time correction information are recorded in correspondence with the stream data. The index information specifies a position of an invalid section in the stream data. The time correction information specifies a time which, supposing that a PCR included in the invalid section was able to be got, a time clock would have shown in synchronization with the PCR. When reproducing the stream data recorded together with the time correction information and the index information, at a position where the invalid section ends, the time clock can be set to a time intended by a broadcasting system, by referencing the index information and the time correction information.
