摘要： Systems and methods are provided herein for receiving a request from a user to access a video that is scheduled for transmission, simultaneously to a plurality of users, beginning from a scheduled start time. The request is received after the scheduled start time the transmission is performed by a linear service to which the user subscribes. In response to receiving the request, the systems and methods may generate for display the video to the user, and may receive, during display of the video, a command from the user to start playback of the video over from the beginning. In response to receiving the command, the systems and methods may identify a non-linear service to which the user subscribes that offers a non-linear copy of the video, and may play back the non-linear copy of the video from the beginning.

摘要： A media backend server deployed within an IPTV system and operated by a hosting operator enables tiered reselling of IPTV services to a hosted operator. The media backend server receives a web service call for a plurality of media content from a branch server operated by the hosted operator. The media backend server proxies the web service call to a head end server to retrieve media metadata for at least a portion of the media content. In addition, the media backend server provides filtered media metadata corresponding to media content purchased by the hosted operator from the hosting operator to the branch server.

The media items are ranked based on the scores. One or more of the media items that have not been featured by any source external to the content hosting platform are identified. A popular media item data set is then created, based on the ranking, with highest ranked media items that have been featured by at least one source external to the content hosting platform.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and system for data tagging in the field of computer technologies. In this method, a user terminal acquires tag data, obtains information about services and functions associated with the tag data, then interacts with target servers to exchange service and function information, and fulfills appropriate services and functions to complete the business application. The disclosed data tagging method and system allow user terminal to interact with directly target servers that are associated with relevant services and functions, which allows functions to be realized in distributed target servers, which simplifies the implementations of tag data, reducing the cost to setting servers. The disclosed data tagging methods allow more extensive applications of data tagging, improved user experiences, simplified processes, and lower costs.

The device records the particular content based on the instructions, and repeatedly plays the recorded particular content based on the instructions. The device performs fraud checks based on the instructions, and determines whether the instructions are fraudulent based on the fraud checks. The device selectively provides, based on whether the instructions are fraudulent, viewership information for the particular content to a ratings device associated with a ratings entity. The viewership information for the particular content is provided to the ratings device when the instructions are not fraudulent, and is discarded when the instructions are fraudulent.

The network device further includes a manager component comprising a pre-loader configured to pre-render and send first EPG images, associated with the EPG, that are frequently re-used to multiple client devices; a graphics interceptor configured to generate one or more second EPG images based on a graphics call, wherein the graphics call causes a first one of multiple client devices to display the one or more second EPG images; and a window manager configured to track changes in the one or more second EPG images and send a modified EPG image that includes the changes, or a modified portion of an EPG image that includes the changes, to the first one of the multiple client devices.
