    摘要: An improvement in the operation to a catalytic distillation process for the alkylation of organic aromatic compounds with an olefin contained wherein aliphatic compounds are contained in either the olefin feed stream, the aromatic feed stream or both is disclosed. Aliphatic compounds are added to the upper portion of a secondary distillation column reactor wherein aromatic is being reacted with unreacted olefin from a primary distillation column reactor to polish the conversion of olefin. The additional aliphatic compound produces an equilibrium in the secondary column wherein unreacted aromatic and alkylation product are recovered as bottoms which may be recycled to the primary distillation column reactor.

    摘要: A method for preparing a molecular sieving metallosilicate is disclosed which comprises(A) providing a mixture comprising: water; an oxide of silicon source; a mineralizing agent and/or synthesis directing agent; and a heteropolymetallate of the formulaA.sub.a L.sub.l M.sub.m J.sub.z O.sub.y .dH.sub.2 O whereinA is an ion selected from the group consisting of hydrogen; one or more of the Group I-A to VI-A or Group I-B to VI-B metals; one or more of the rare earth metals; ammonium, alkyl ammonium, alkyl phosphonium or alkyl arsonium; or a mixture of two or more thereof;M is Zn, Ga, Ge, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, B, Ni, Rh, Zr or a mixture of two or more thereof;L is P, As, Si, Al, H or a mixture of two or more thereof;J is Mo, W, V, Nb or a mixture of two or more thereof;a is a number which when multiplied by the charge of A will result in balancing the charge on the complex within the brackets;l is a number ranging from zero to about 20;m is a number ranging from zero to about 20;z is a number ranging from about 1 to about 50;y is a number ranging from about 7 to about 150;d is a number ranging from about zero to about 150; and(B) maintaining said mixture at a temperature of about 80.degree.     摘要: An adsorptive separation process is disclosed for separating para-aromatic isomers from a hydrocarbon feed containing a mixture of aromatic isomers, using a crystalline aluminosilicate adsorbent which has been treated with an alkyl amine preferably an alkyl amine hydrochloride. The alkyl amine treatment substantially increases the selectivity of the adsorbent for the para-xylene isomer, relative to the heavy desorbent p-DEB, thereby improving the efficiency of the separation process.

    摘要: A process for preparing corresponding alkyl-substituted aromatic compounds by the gas phase catalytic dehydrogenation of vinylcycloalkenes in the presence of a dehydrogenation catalyst supported on a carrier, said catalytic dehydrogenation being carried out(i) in the presence of a dehydrogenation catalyst in which at least one of elements belonging to periods 5 and 6 in the group VIII of the periodic table selected from the group consisting of palladium, rhodium, platinum, iridium and ruthenium is supported on active carbon(ii) by introducing steam into the reaction system,(iii) but without introducing hydrogen into the reaction system,(iv) at conditions of temperatures ranging from 300.degree. C. to less than 350.degree. C. and pressure less than 2.5 atm (absolute pressure),wherein a liquid hourly space velocity (LHSV) is set at about 5 hr.sup.-1 or less when the catalytic dehydrogenation is effected in the presence of said catalyst in which palladium alone is supported on active carbon.
