摘要: A video multiviewer system is provided for use in the simultaneous viewing, at a viewing location, of video streams from multiple video sources, and comprises video prescaler means for deriving from each of multiple video input streams a respective set of one or more scaled video streams, the or at least some of the scaled video streams being of a different scale from that of the video input stream, the system further comprising a video stream combiner programmed or arranged to combine selected scaled video streams to enable the selected scaled video streams to be displayed at the viewing location, wherein the combiner and prescaler means are programmed or arranged to be linked together, in use, by means of a packet switched network via which said selected scaled video streams are relayed to the video stream combiner. In a corresponding method of simultaneously presenting, at a viewing location, video streams from multiple sources, a respective set of one or more scaled video streams is generated from each of a number of input video streams and is fed to a packet switched network from which selected members of the sets of scaled streams are received and combined into a combined video stream for display on a displaying device.

摘要: Multi-radio antenna apparatuses and stations for wireless networks including multiple radios coupled to a single transmit/receive antenna, in which the antenna is highly synchronized by an external (e.g., GPS) signal. These multi-radio antenna systems may provide highly resilient links. Synchronization may allow these apparatuses to organically scale the transmission throughput while preventing data loss. 摘要: A method for automatically selecting a frequency band for transmission of a mud pulse telemetry signal includes transforming acquired transducer measurements from a time domain to a frequency domain to obtain a spectrum of measurements. The spectrum of measurements is processed to compute a total energy in band and a standard deviation of the power spectral density in band for a plurality of frequency bands. A ratio of the total energy in band to the standard deviation acquiring a plurality of transducer measurements of transmitted mud pulse telemetry pressure pulses and of the power spectral density in band is computed for at least two of the plurality of frequency bands. The frequency band having the highest computed ratio is selected and automatically downlinked to a downhole mud pulse telemetry transmitter.

摘要: Methods and systems for digitization of broadband analog signals may comprise in a radio frequency (RF) transceiver comprising a diplexer, first and second automatic gain and slope control (ASCS) modules, and a combiner): receiving an input RF signal comprising at least two signals, splitting the input RF signal in the frequency domain into first and second signals of different frequency utilizing the diplexer, configuring a frequency-dependent gain level for each of the first and second signals utilizing the first and second ASCS modules, and combining output signals from the first and second ASCS modules utilizing the combiner. The frequency dependent gain levels of the first and second signals may be configured to enable an ADC receiving the combined signal to operate with an effective number of bits (ENOB) of approximately 10.

In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving the first signal, converting the first signal of the first bandwidth into an intermediate frequency band, splitting the converted first signal into N of intermediate signals, each having a bandwidth less than the digital processor bandwidth, wherein N is an integer greater than one, downconverting each of the N intermediate signals to the second frequency band, processing the downconverted plurality of signals with the digital processor to generate N processed signals, upconverting each of the N processed signals to the intermediate frequency band, converting the upconverted signals to the third frequency band, and transmitting the converted signals.

摘要: A system and method for signal backup of active DAS master unit are disclosed. The system includes a state detection unit, a backup processing unit and at least two power distribution units, wherein a backup signal output port and a plurality of backup access ports with a number great than or equal to that of the power distribution units are arranged on the backup processing unit, and a backup signal input port and a plurality of radio frequency access ports with a number great than or equal to that of the power distribution units are arranged on the state detection unit; and each power distribution unit has an input port coupled to one of a plurality of signal sources, and two output ports in which one is coupled to one radio frequency access port and the other is coupled to one backup access port, and the backup signal output port is coupled to the backup signal input port. The backup processing unit is configured to control a signal from the signal source coupled to the radio frequency access port which is in an accessing-abnormal state to access the backup signal input port, when any one of the plurality of radio frequency access ports is in the accessing-abnormal state. It can reduce the hardware cost while guarantee the reliability to improve the cost performance of the backup system.

摘要: A high-frequency front end circuit includes a frequency fixed filter and frequency variable LC filters, and these are connected in series in a signal transmission path. The frequency fixed filter transmits high-frequency signals in a frequency band of a communication band and attenuates high-frequency signals outside the frequency band of the communication band. One of the frequency variable LC filters is an LC filter and attenuates unnecessary wave frequencies in the frequency band of the communication band. Another one of the frequency variable filters is a resonator filter that passes high-frequency signals in a frequency band of a selected channel and attenuates high-frequency signals in frequency bands of adjacent communication channels of the selected channel.
