摘要: An apparatus for blending and storing petroleum based fuel and vegetable based fuel is provided. The apparatus includes a blended fuel storage tank; a petroleum fuel storage tank connectable to the blended fuel storage tank; a vegetable based fuel storage tank connectable to the blended fuel storage tank; and a ganged fuel controller adapted to synchronize fuel flow ratios from the petroleum fuel storage tank and the vegetable based fuel tank to the blended fuel storage tank. In an alternate embodiment the fuel may be delivered already mixed for storage and continued blending in a mixed fuel storage tank adapted to maintaining the blended fuel mixture.

摘要: The present invention relates to the continuous production of coated, dyed, printed, or painted materials by dip coating, spraying or printing in which a plurality of flowable materials including a liquid color concentrate are fed to a continuous mixing chamber with a substantially continuous input and output. The liquid color concentrate is dispensed by a dispensing apparatus including at least a first substantially vertical hollow chamber; a controllable pump device having an inlet fluidly connected to an outlet of said first hollow chamber for pumping the liquid color concentrate to the mixing chamber; a sensor for outputting substantially continuously a signal dependent upon a height of a liquid in the first hollow chamber; and a control device suitable for controlling at least one flow rate determining characteristic of the controllable pump in response to the output signal of the sensor so as to maintain the flow rate of the liquid to be dispensed through the pump device at a predetermined value. The method and apparatus are particularly useful in the manufacture of printed carpets.

摘要: A dual component mixing system for coating comprises a first tank containing a main agent, a second tank containing a hardening agent diluted with thinner, a mixer which mixes the main agent and the hardening agent and supplies the mixture to a manually operated coating gun, a main agent line connecting the mixer and the first tank, a hardening agent line connecting the mixer and the second tank, a flow meter disposed within the main agent line, a flow meter and a flow regulating valve disposed within the hardening agent line, and a feedback control device which receives signals from the flow meters and controls the flow regulating valve so that the amount of hardening agent is a predetermined ratio with respect to the amount of main agent. The dual component mixing system according to the present invention provides an adequate control of the main agent/hardening agent ratio regardless of the differences among individuals manipulating the coating gun.

摘要: A continuous flow mixer includes an impeller assembly and a mixing chamber formed from concentric inner and outer tubes. The inner tube is radially constrained but is movable along the axis of the outer tube. The impeller assembly is at one end of the mixing chamber and draws fluid along the interior of the inner tube and discharges the fluid to the annular region between the inner and outer tubes. The fluids are introduced into the mixing chamber at the end remote from the impeller assembly and the mixed solution exits the mixing chamber substantially centrally of its length from the annular region.

摘要: A method for providing a continuous injection of a substantially constant amount of a desired treatment chemical into a flowing process stream is described. This method insures that the concentration of the desired treatment chemical is maintained at a relatively constant and effective concentration throughout the flowing process stream. The means for providing the relatively continuous injection of the treatment chemical is preferably a pump that provides a continuous injection at a relatively constant flow rate of the treatment chemical into a flowing process stream.Providing a uniform concentration of a treatment chemical in a flowing process stream maximizes the benefit of the treatment chemical. Conventional methods for injecting treatment chemicals provide intermittent injection of the treatment chemical such that sections of the flowing process stream have no concentration of the treatment chemical. This reduces the benefit of the treatment chemical and may prevent it from providing any benefit at all.
