The beverage dispenser may include a beverage valve connected by one or more water lines to the source of water, a flow meter positioned about the water lines so as to determine a flow rate therethrough, and a proportioning device positioned about the source of gas so as to mix a predetermined volume of gas into the lines based upon the flow rate as determined by the flow meter.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a system, method and apparatus for controlling the flavor of a beverage produced from a concentrate, based on the conductivity of the beverage being produced. The apparatus includes a conductivity sensor which provides a controller with real time conductivity data from the beverage being served. The controller is capable of comparing the real time conductivity data to a preprogrammed range of conductivity readings and adjusting a variable speed pump to keep the real time conductivity data within the preprogrammed range.

摘要: A system is provided for producing at least two beverages having different percentages of water. The system comprises: (a) a first container containing a first water-soluble compound and a second container containing a second water-soluble compound; (b) a valve assembly associated with the first and second containers for selectively receiving the first and second water-soluble compounds, the valve assembly including a valve having a first position for receiving the first water-soluble compound and a second position for receiving the second water-soluble compound; (c) a pump associated with the valve assembly adapted to be associated with a water source, the pump adapted to pump the first water-soluble compound from the valve assembly for mixing with water when the valve is in the first position and to pump the second water-soluble compound from the valve assembly for mixing with water when the valve is in the second position; and (d) a processor for signaling the pump to operate at a first speed when the valve is in the first position and a second speed when the valve is in the second position to selectively product the first beverage and the second beverage. The first pump speed desirably is different from the second pump speed. The system may comprise a housing containing the valve assembly, the pump and the processor, and the first and second containers desirably are spaced from the housing. The system may be able to produce additional beverages having different percentages of water, and thus may further include additional containers, valve assemblies, pumps and dispense valves.

摘要: A beverage dispensing device has a housing with a beverage unit with a liquid inlet and a beverage outlet. The beverage unit has a receiving means for receiving at least two ingredient containers containing a unit dose of an ingredient of the beverage to be dispensed. The beverage unit also has a liquid line in fluid communication with a base liquid source, with the contents of the ingredient containers, when correctly installed in the device, and with the beverage outlet. The liquid line is split into two side lines at a point A, downstream the liquid inlet. Both side lines join in fluid communication at a point B, downstream point A and upstream the beverage outlet, at least one of the ingredient containers in liquid communication with the liquid line at a point M1 downstream point A and upstream point B.

摘要: An evacuation system including an evacuation member engages a product package and applies pressure thereto, such that a product in the product package moves toward an outlet in the product package for dispensing. A controller monitors the force applied by a driver to the product package, thereby ensuring that the pressure remains below a particular threshold to protect the integrity of the product package. The controller further monitors the evacuation member location, thereby enabling the controller to recognize when the product package is empty. The evacuation system further includes a package carrier including a pinch-off area that moves product out of an unrecoverable portion of the product package. The evacuation member may be utilized as a stand-alone device or with a primary device, wherein the primary device provides signals to the evacuation system and the evacuation system provides product to the primary device.
