    摘要: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system for improved calibration of an image acquisition device. Certain embodiments of the system include an image acquisition device for obtaining at least one image of an object and a calibration fixture positioned in relation to the image acquisition device. The calibration fixture includes a radiotranslucent material providing low frequency content for characterizing the image acquisition device. In an embodiment, the calibration fixture includes a plurality of peaks and valleys to create a low frequency signal for characterizing the image acquisition device. The calibration fixture may be positioned between the image acquisition device and an energy source such that a distance between the image acquisition device and the calibration fixture is minimized. In certain embodiments, a grating or other calibration fixture may be used to generate a moiré pattern to calibrate the image acquisition device.

    摘要: Techniques are provided for generating three-dimensional images, such as may be used in mammography. In accordance with these techniques, projection images of an object of interest are acquired from different locations, such as by moving an X-ray source along an arbitrary imaging trajectory between emissions or by individually activating different X-ray sources located at different locations relative to the object of interest. The projection images may be reconstructed to generate a three-dimensional dataset representative of the object from which one or more volumes may be selected for visualization and display. Additional processing steps may occur throughout the image chain, such as for pre-processing the projection images or post-processing the three-dimensional dataset.

During rotation, multiple x-ray images of the body or of a part of the body are produced and stored by at least one radiation source/image recorder system which is separate from the radiotherapy apparatus and whose radiation path is substantially not parallel to the spatially fixed axis. The rotational position of the couch or the bearing area of the couch or the body itself is detected while the images are produced, and the rotational position is assigned to the corresponding image, wherein a volumetric image data set of the body is reconstructed from the x-ray images by image processing and assignment by a computer system.

    摘要: A registration method and an apparatus for navigation-guided interventions employing an X-ray device and a position acquisition system and avoid the use of patient-associated markers. By means of a defined arrangement of a carrying arm proceeding from a support mount at the X-ray device and a defined arrangement of an X-ray calibration phantom at the carrying arm, the coordinate transformation between a coordinate system allocated to the support mount and a coordinate system allocated to the X-ray calibration phantom is known. On the basis of the acquisition and evaluation of 2D projections of the X-ray calibration phantom with the X-ray device, a coordinate transformation between the coordinate system allocated to the support mount and a coordinate system allocated to a measurement volume of the X-ray device is produced. By arranging a device detectable by the position acquisition system at the support mount, a coordinate transformation between the coordinate system allocated to the measurement volume and a coordinate system allocated to the calibration phantom is determined for the navigation.
