Abstract: A photoacoustic apparatus may include: a ring transducer configured to measure a photoacoustic signal generated from an object, and including a hollow space that is provided as a travel path of light and ultrasonic waves; a mirror part disposed along a light path of the light transmitted from the ring transducer, and configured to reflect the light transmitted from the ring transducer, and the ultrasonic waves generated from the object, and to adjust magnification of the mirror part according to a number of apertures of the photoacoustic apparatus; and a fluid tank including a transparent film that allows the photoacoustic signal to pass through the fluid tank, and accommodating a fluid, the ring transducer, and the mirror part inside the fluid tank.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of purifying native ubiquitin without acid or heat treatment. The method presented here is designed to overcome limitations of acid or heat based ubiquitin purification in two different points of view. First, it decreases a chance of mixing other proteins resistant to acids or heat. Second, it includes no harsh condition, which might denature the ubiquitin. As a result, the purification of native ubiquitin becomes possible. The ubiquitin obtained herein is expected to be used for various purposes in technical fields.

Abstract: Proposed are a photoelectrochemical cell for producing hydrogen peroxide, a method of fabricating the same, and a method of producing hydrogen peroxide using the photoelectrochemical cell. The photoelectrochemical cell includes a photoanode including a photocatalyst, a cathode, and a solid polymer electrolyte layer disposed between the photoanode and the cathode and including a solid polymer electrolyte. The photoelectrochemical cell is for use in the production of hydrogen peroxide, and can produce hydrogen peroxide with electric energy generated from solar energy without requiring the supply of external electric energy.

In the photocatalyst and the water treatment method using the same, the photocatalyst including bimetallic nanoparticles and graphene oxide is prepared, thereby exhibiting high reduction efficiency and high selectivity to nitrogen gas even without the use of an external electron donor.

Abstract: A modified extracellular matrix-based hydrogel according to an example of the present disclosure includes an extracellular matrix-denatured collagen conjugate formed by a Michael addition reaction between an extracellular matrix having an amine group and a denatured collagen into which an ethylenically unsaturated bond functional group is introduced. The modified extracellular matrix-based hydrogel according to the present disclosure exhibits enhanced mechanical properties (e.g., viscoelasticity) compared to the extracellular matrix hydrogel before modification. In addition, it shows a high cell viability when the bioink is prepared by encapsulating cells in a modified extracellular matrix-based hydrogel according to the present disclosure. In addition, when an artificial living tissue for transplantation (for example, artificial corneal tissue) manufactured by 3-D printing bioink according to the present disclosure is transplanted into a damaged cornea, it can be sutured and has a transparency similar to that of the real cornea, and corneal tissue can be reconstructed without other side effects due to its enhanced mechanical properties. Accordingly, the modified extracellular matrix-based hydrogel according to the present disclosure can be applied in tissue engineering fields and related fields requiring improvement in physical properties and is particularly useful as a material for corneal transplants.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device and method of generating a nonlinear waveform signal dissipating low power and operating at a high speed. Abstract: The present invention relates to a technique in which demand prediction of resources of virtual network functions (VNFs) that provide a core technology in a network virtualization environment is performed using machine learning technology. In the present invention, in order to predict VNF resource information, not only are the resources of the VNFs as data but also information of surrounding VNFs that are directly or indirectly related are used, and prediction is possible even in a dynamically changed network environment. In addition, service function chain (SFC) data among various pieces of network information is used to reduce a time required for machine learning according to a size of an entire network.
