摘要: A containment vessel is disclosed that generally includes a container body with an interior containment volume and a lid closure having a substantially enclosed cavity configured to hold a desiccant material therein. The integrated desiccant lid closure generally has an interiorly disposed surface with a plurality of openings for exposing the desiccant material to the internal atmosphere of the container while retaining the desiccant material within the lid enclosure. The container body and the lid closure may be adapted to conform to a substantially matched polygonal shape, such as that of a prism. Disclosed features and specifications may be variously controlled, adapted or otherwise optionally modified to improve moisture control for stored food products. Exemplary embodiments of the present invention generally provide for the long-term storage of tea sachets.

摘要: Known probe-based network monitoring systems, whilst providing may benefits to network operators wishing to monitor various aspects of their network, have a cost implication associated with them in relation to the setting-up of taps. Also, the use of such systems may become problematic if network operators decide to encrypt signalling data. Whilst a probe-less monitoring system exists, it requires a compatible switch to be provided from the same manufacturer of the probe-less monitoring system. The present invention overcomes these difficulties by providing an interface for use with a monitoring system otherwise incapable of supporting direct connection with a network element. The interface is provide identity information compatible with the monitoring system in response to receipt of identity information compatible with the network element

摘要: A chemiluminescent system that will produce visible light for an extended period of time, without the use of relatively high levels of oxidizing agents that are non-reacting within the system. The chemiluminescent system comprises a chromophore, an activator, and a granular metering agent, or a chromophore and/or an activator that acts as a granular metering agent. The chromophore will produce visible light when reacted with the activator.

摘要: A corner insert for edge strips used with modified electrodes for electrolytic processes. An electrode that is at least partially submerged in an electrolyte is protected by edge strips to prevent depositions and metallic bridges. The edge strips are typically mitered to abut one another at the corners of the electrode and it is difficult to seal this junction. One solution is to remove the corners of the electrode, provide non-mitered edge strips, and close the gap at the corner with an insert adapted to seal to the additional edges of the electrode created by removing the comers. Another solution is to provide a corner insert having one or more anchors for anchoring the corner insert to the electrode and to respective adjacent edge strips, the corner insert sealing against the edge strips and against opposite sides of the electrode whether or not the corner portion has been removed. Yet another solution is to omit an edge strip at the bottom edge of the electrode, and provide an edge strip insert having an anchor for anchoring the edge strip insert to the electrode and to an edge strip which receives the anchor, the edge strip insert for sealingly seating against the edge strip and against opposite sides of the electrode whether or not the corner portion has been removed.

摘要: A method and apparatus for taking digital pictures. A film camera having a standard back panel, a shutter, and a primary lens is provided. An image sensing array is disposed within the camera in an area normally occupied by film so as to be in optical communication with the primary lens when the shutter is open. A read-out circuit is packaged to reside in a cavity normally occupied by film when the camera is employed to take standard pictures. The read-out circuit is coupled to the image sensing array and reads out an image captured by the image sensing array. A memory is coupled to a read-out circuit to store images read from the image sensing array. The memory is packaged to also reside in a cavity vacated in the absence of film. In one embodiment, the read-out circuit and the memory occupy the same cavity. In another embodiment, the read-out circuit and the memory occupy different cavities.

摘要: An image processing system is connected to a display device for displaying an image comprising a plurality of frames. The system comprises first and second processors, input controller for receiving positional information from a user via an input device connectable to the image processing system, and a shared memory accessible by the first and second processors for storing data representing frames of an image, and the positional information. The first processor is arranged to load frames of the image from a storage device in to the shared memory, for each frame the first processor being arranged to retrieve from the storage device data representing that frame, to load the frame data into the shared memory, and to store in the shared memory frame address information identifying the location within shared memory of the frame data and the positional relationship of the frame to other frames of the image. Further, the first processor accesses the positional information to determine in what order to load the frames of the image in to shared memory. In parallel, the second processor is arranged to access the positional information to determine a portion of the image to be displayed, and with reference to the frame address information, to retrieve the corresponding image data from the shared memory for display of that portion on the display device. By this approach, the system enables image data to be loaded and displayed to a user in a manner which meets the performance requirements of the user, but which does not require the use of complex and expensive hardware as employed in prior art systems.
