Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE), a network node, and communication methods respectively for a UE and a network node. The UE comprises a transceiver which, in operation, receives, on a physical downlink control channel, PDCCH, downlink control information, DCI, for scheduling a plurality of transmissions or receptions between the UE and a plurality of transmission and reception points, TRPs, on a plurality of channels, the DCI including one or more indicators indicating one or more respective transmission parameters, and circuitry which, in operation, obtains, based on the one or more indicators and on a configuration, a plurality of values respectively of the one or more transmission parameters. The transceiver, in operation, performs the plurality of transmissions or receptions using a respective one of the plurality of values of the one or more transmission parameters for each of the plurality of transmissions or receptions.

Abstract: An encoder capable of properly handling an image to be encoded or decoded includes processing circuitry and memory connected to the processing circuitry. Using the memory, the processing circuitry: obtains parameters including at least one of (i) one or more parameters related to a first process for correcting distortion in an image captured with a wide angle lens and (ii) one or more parameters related to a second process for stitching a plurality of images; generates an encoded image by encoding a current image to be processed that is based on the image or the plurality of images; and writes the parameters into a bitstream including the encoded image.

Abstract: An encoder that encodes a current block to be encoded in an image is provided. The encoder includes: processor; and memory coupled to the processor, in which, in operation, the processor: generates a first prediction image based on a motion vector, the first prediction image being an image with full-pel precision; generates a second prediction image using an interpolation filter by interpolating a value at a fractional-pel position between full-pel positions included in the first prediction image; and encodes the current block based on the second prediction image, and in the using of the interpolation filter, the interpolation filter is switched between a first interpolation filter and a second interpolation filter differing in a total number of taps from the first interpolation filter.

Abstract: Provided are a resource scheduling method, a resource determining method, an eNB, and a user equipment. The resource scheduling method for wireless communication is performed by the eNB. The wireless communication involves at least a first carrier and a second carrier. The resource scheduling method includes: transmitting a DCI in the first carrier to a UE to schedule downlink resources for a PDSCH of the second carrier, wherein the eNB is able to start transmitting a burst in the second carrier at a flexible time independent of the subframe boundaries of the second carrier after the second carrier is occupied by the eNB, and the DCI for a flexible PDSCH of the burst different from the normal PDSCH of the second carrier contains information on the time period scheduled for the flexible PDSCH. The flexible PDSCH and its corresponding RS can reuse the DwPTS subframe structure for minimal specification impact.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment comprising a receiver receiving a minimum-system-information message from a first radio base station. System information for the first radio cell that can be acquired by the UE is carried within the minimum-SI message and one or more additional-SI messages. The minimum-SI message includes system information for accessing the first radio cell and at least one system information index, each of which is associated with one of the additional-SI messages. The SI message index comprises a value tag and an area pointer, the latter pointing to one area already defined. Processing circuitry determines whether the UE had already acquired before the additional-SI message associated with the same value tag and the same area. If the determination is positive, the processing circuitry determines that system information included in said additional-SI message acquired before is applicable to the first radio cell.
