    摘要： An adjustable massage bed assembly including a head motor for controllably raising and lowering a head section of a mattress, a foot motor for controllably raising and lowering a foot section of the mattress, and a vibratory motor for imparting a massaging action to the mattress. A handheld control unit has first and second mechanisms for controlling operations of the head and foot motors, and a third mechanism for controlling an operation of the vibratory motor. The third mechanism when actuated also automatically stops any ongoing operation of the head and foot motors as a safety feature.

    摘要： A portable spa has a recirculation system with an automatic vacuum breaking mechanism for preventing objects, such as small children, from becoming lodged at the discharge opening at the bottom of the spa. The recirculation system includes a vacuum sensor adapted to sense the amount or rapid change in the amount of vacuum within the discharge conduit of the recirculation system. When a pre-defined vacuum parameter exceeds a pre-determined set point, the safety switch automatically engages the vacuum breaking means, such as recirculation pump power relays, so as to immediately break the vacuum at the discharge pump.

    摘要： A spa is maintained at a ready-to-use temperature by a daily heating cycle that is initiated by a filter cycle clock, which traditionally has been used only for programming the circulation of the spa water through a filter. Once a daily heating cycle has been initiated, it normally concludes only when the temperature of the spa water reaches a desired temperature that the user has preset into a thermostat. However, for safety the heating cycle is terminated immediately in the event the heater temperature becomes excessive, since this event could result from lack of water or inadequate circulation.

    摘要： A safety drain for a spa having a recirculating water pump is arranged to prevent entrapment, against the drain, of an object or person that may inadvertently block flow of water through the drain. The drain body, having a first fitting connected to the suction line of the pump, is provided with a second fitting connected to a vent conduit that has an end open to atmosphere at a point above water level. A by-pass conduit interconnecting the pump suction line and the vent conduit avoids disablement of the safety function of the vent conduit if the latter should become blocked within the drain.
