摘要： An aerator for a spa is made of a section of pipe mounted to a base having an axially directed output fitting. A blower oriented axially of the pipe is mounted near the base in an annular mounting and sealing ring, and one or more additional blowers may be mounted to provide a series of blower stages all axially aligned with one another along the pipe. A solid body of porous foam having a through aperture fills the pipe above the first of the blowers and a cover is detachably connected to the top of the pipe section housing.

摘要： An air blower for a therapy pool has its motor blower assembly resiliently mounted to the housing for decreased transmission of noise and vibration to the case and attached plumbing. A resilient, elastomeric annulus, reinforced at its inner edge, connects the motor to the blower housing by means of an improved connection between the flexible annulus and the housing. The outer peripheral edge of the flexible annulus is formed with a pair of circumferential locking ribs and a number of circumferentially spaced holes, and this edge is permanently secured to the housing by being molded to and integrally embedded within a housing mounting ring that forms part of the blower housing.

摘要： A safety drain for a spa having a recirculating water pump is arranged to prevent entrapment, against the drain, of an object or person that may inadvertently block flow of water through the drain. The drain body, having a first fitting connected to the suction line of the pump, is provided with a second fitting connected to a vent conduit that has an end open to atmosphere at a point above water level. A by-pass conduit interconnecting the pump suction line and the vent conduit avoids disablement of the safety function of the vent conduit if the latter should become blocked within the drain.

摘要： An air blower includes an axial flow through assembly of motor and fan housing mounted in an axial flow through motor casing. The casing includes two sections formed of an injection molded, soft, resilient, elastomeric material which sections are basically cylindrical with closed ends at which are formed axially aligned flow through input and output air fittings. The inner end of each casing section is enlarged and the two abutted together to form a fan housing receiving chamber that tightly and elastically receives the fan housing. One end of the fan housing seats against the shoulder in the enlarged end of one casing section, and the other end of the fan housing seats against a plurality of positioning and reinforcing fingers integral with and spaced around the inner surface of the enlarged end of the other casing section. A number of circumferentially spaced, axially extending bolts pull the two casing sections together to tightly clamp the fan housing, and thereby the motor, to and within the enlarged housing receiving chamber of the casing sections.
