Abstract:
In an aspect of the present invention, a method for a user equipment (UE) to perform reflective quality of service (QoS) in a wireless communication system may include the steps of receiving a downlink packet from a network, wherein the downlink packet is a packet to which the application of the reflective QoS is indicated; deriving a QoS rule based on the downlink packet; applying a QoS marking of the downlink packet to an uplink packet using the QoS rule and transmitting the uplink packet to the network; and restarting a timer associated with the QoS rule when the downlink packet is received before the timer expires.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for performing a registration through a first network access and a second network access by user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: performing a registration through a first network access by UE; and performing a registration through a second network access by the UE, wherein when the first network access and the second network access belong to an identical public land mobile network (PLMN), the UE starts a registration through the second network access only after a registration procedure thereof through the first network access has been completed.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for a terminal creating a session, the terminal supporting next-generation mobile communication. The method may comprise the steps of: determining that a session must be newly created if the creation of a session is not included in a process of attaching to a core network of a next-generation mobile communication; on the basis of service type information, determining that the session being newly created needs to be always-on, or in other words, always-connected; and transmitting, to a control plane (CP) function node for managing the session, a connectivity request message including information indicating that the session that needs to be always-on, or in other words, always-connected, has been requested.
Abstract:
In an aspect of the present invention, a method for a user equipment to update a policy in a wireless communication system may include transmitting a first registration request message to an access and mobility management function (AMF), wherein the first registration request message includes requested network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) including single (S)-NSSAI corresponding to a network slice with which the user equipment wants to register; receiving a first registration accept message as a response to the first registration request message from the AMF, wherein the first registration accept message includes an allowed NSSAI including at least one S-NSSAI allowed by the AMF; and requesting the update of a network slice selection policy (NSSP) associated with new S-NSSAI from the AMF when the new S-NSSAI not included in the requested NSSAI is included in the allowed NSSAI and the NSSP associated with the new S-NSSAI is not present.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a network-initiated deregistration method by an access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system, including: receiving a first message having a removal reason configured to subscription withdrawn from a unified data management (UDM); and transmitting a deregistration request message for requesting the deregistration to a user equipment (UE), in which the deregistration is enabled to be performed for all accesses in which the UE is registered when the removal cause received from the UDM through the first message indicates the subscription withdrawn of the UE.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for processing a loss of access wherein a first network entity of a first network determines, from a measurement report of a terminal operating by SCM or TSCM, a loss of access of the terminal to the first network, and notifies a second network entity of the loss of access, and a method for processing a loss of access wherein, when the loss of access of the terminal is received, the second network entity processes the loss of access according to whether a condition for dropping a loss of access is satisfied.
Abstract:
A first network device receives a request associated with data notification for a user equipment (UE). When the UE is in a mode in which communication of mobile terminated data is restricted and the first network device detects that the UE is in a non-allowed area, the first network device rejects the request unless the data notification is for a regulatory prioritized service.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present specification provides a method for acquiring an identifier of a visited public land mobile network (V-PLMN), in which a user equipment is roaming, by a proxy-call session control function (P-CSCF) of a home public land mobile network (H-PLMN). The method may comprise the steps of: receiving a register message from the user equipment; generating a first V-PLMN identifier on the basis of the register message; and transferring the first V-PLMN identifier to a home subscriber server (HSS), wherein whether the first V-PLMN identifier corresponds to an identifier of the V-PLMN which is serving the user equipment is verified by the HSS through comparison with a second V-PLMN identifier acquired in an initial attach procedure for an evolved packet core (EPC) of the user equipment.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present invention provides a method for selecting an enhanced packet data gateway (ePDG). The method may be performed by a user equipment (UE) and comprise: determining, by the UE which has roamed from a home public land mobile network (H-PLMN) to a visited public land mobile network (V-PLMN), whether there exists an indication for selecting ePDG in the V-PLMN; determining, by the UE, whether the UE has attached to any PLMN in the V-PLMN, when it is determined that there exists the indication; determining, by the UE, whether there exists an ePDG PLMN list for the any PLMN in the V-PLMN, when it is determined that the UE has attached to the any PLMN; and selecting, by the UE, at least one ePDG in the ePDG PLMN list.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for supporting an internet protocol security (IPsec). The method may be performed by a mobility management entity (MME) and comprise: receiving a tracking area update (TAU) request message from a user equipment (UE); determining whether to activate an encryption option of IPsec; and transmitting a TAU accept message including IPsec related information generated based on the determination.
