    摘要: A bicycle pedal is disclosed that consists of a pedal body including a pair of surfaces interchangeably configured to receive a foot and an axle having a first end configured to be received by a crank arm of a bicycle and having a second end received into the pedal body, the axle configured to rotate with respect to the pedal body. The second end of the axle is configured to rotate freely within the pedal body without a bearing system. The bicycle pedals disclosed herein include a fewer number of parts than conventional bicycle pedals, and yet may be stronger and more durable, than conventional bicycle pedals. Further, the bicycle pedals disclosed herein may be manufactured in less time and at lower costs than conventional bicycle pedals.

    摘要: A bidirectional pedal assembly for a vehicle. The assembly includes a support mounted on the vehicle and a pedal pivotally coupled to the support about a pivot shaft. The pedal pivots between a neutral position and first and second operational positions. A biasing member is mounted within the support and continuously biases the pedal to the neutral position. A control mechanism is coupled to the support and the pedal to retard pivotal movement of the pedal as the pedal returns from the operational positions to the neutral position. A handle can be coupled to the pedal and pivot concurrently with the pedal. A frictional mechanism can be disposed within the support and provide increasing resistance as the pedal moves increasingly away from the neutral position. The biasing mechanism, frictional mechanism, and/or control mechanism are configured to force the pedal to the neutral position with no overshoot within a predetermined period.

    摘要: A vehicle pedal assembly comprising a pedal including a pedal stub arm having a metal pedal arm molded into a plastic stem with inserts molded therein and an actuator bar coupled to the stem of the pedal. Fasteners extend through the actuator bar and into the inserts in the stem for securing the actuator bar to the pedal. The actuator bar is adapted to exert an active force against the pedal. In one embodiment, both the pedal arm and the actuator bar include one or more bends defined therein. The pedal arm has a length and shape dependent upon the distance and position of the floor or pedal pad relative to the pedal. The actuator bar has a length and shape dependent upon the distance and position of the pedal relative to an actuator arm.

The shaft module includes a circular enclosure, a shaft core and plural rolling units. The enclosure has a circular inner surface that defines a through hole. The enclosure is received in the socket portion and coupled to the pedal body. The shaft core partially protrudes into the through hole. The shaft core has a connecting segment and a first sustaining segment. The connecting segment is configured to connect the crank. The rolling units are rotatably sandwiched by the circular inner surface and the first sustaining segment, so that the shaft core is allowed to rotate with respect to the enclosure against an axis.

    摘要: An accelerator pedal rotates a pedal rotor when depressed. Rotors located on both sides of the pedal rotor are relatively rotatable to the pedal rotor. Second helical teeth of the rotors project toward the pedal rotor and engage with first helical teeth of the pedal rotor to bias the rotors when the pedal rotor rotates in the accelerator opening direction. The pedal rotor is rotatable to an accelerator full-close position without interfering with the first helical teeth when the pedal rotor rotates in an accelerator closing direction. A first biasing unit biases the rotors in the accelerator closing direction. A second biasing unit biases the accelerator pedal or the pedal rotor in the accelerator closing direction.
