    摘要: A multi-pump control system includes a control module, a processing module, a communication interface, and a storage module. The control module runs n different subsets of i pumps of a multi-pump system including N pumps during n different configuration cycles at a speed ωj, wherein N≥2, 2≤n≤2N−1 and 1≤i≤N. Each configuration cycle j∈{1, . . . , n} is associated with a subset j∈{1, . . . , n} and a speed ωj. The communication interface receives signals indicative of operational parameters from each subset j during the associated configuration cycle j. The processing module determines an approximated pump characteristic Δp=f(q, ωj) based on the received signals for each subset j and under an assumption that the i pumps of each subset j share the same part q/i of a reference flow q. The storage module stores the approximated pump characteristic Δp=f(q, ωj) or parameters indicative thereof.

    摘要: A sensor system that measures at least one parameter of water includes an electronics subsystem and includes a sensor housing electrically and mechanically coupled to the electronics subsystem. The sensor housing encloses a chamber that receives water via at least one inlet and that releases water via at least one outlet. At least one sensor has at least one electrode exposed to water in the chamber. A flow generator causes water to flow through the chamber. A plurality of objects within the chamber move in response to the water flow and abrasively clean the at least one electrode. Preferably, the sensor system includes a chlorine sensor having at least two electrodes. The electronics subsystem applies a first differential voltage between the two electrodes during a measurement interval and then applies a second differential voltage between the two electrodes during an interval following the measurement interval.

    摘要: An apparatus, system and method for pumping gaseous fluid are described. The centrifugal pump of the invention homogenizes at least a portion of the gas and liquid contained in produced well fluid thereby improving the efficiency of the pump in electric submersible pump (ESP) applications and decreasing the downtime of the ESP system. The impeller of the invention comprises an increased inlet area. The centrifugal pump of the invention comprises a single shroud located on the bottom side of an impeller, an increased inlet area of the impeller and an increased clearance gap between the impeller and a diffuser. One or more truncated vanes extend substantially upstream from the single shroud, wherein each truncated vane sits at a mid-pitch location between untruncated vanes starting from the bottom side of the impeller.

    摘要: A mechanical coolant pump for an internal combustion engine includes a pump housing defining an outlet volute, a first outlet channel comprising a first valve opening, a second outlet channel comprising a second valve opening, an impeller pump wheel, and an outlet valve arrangement. The second outlet channel is separate from and fluidically parallel to the first outlet channel. The impeller pump wheel pumps a liquid into the outlet volute. The outlet valve arrangement is fluidically upstream of the first outlet channel and the second outlet channel. The outlet valve arrangement comprises an integral valve body which pivots between an open position and a closed position. The valve body comprises a first retaining section and a second retaining section. When the valve body is in the closed position, the first retaining section completely closes the first valve opening and the second retaining section only partially closes the second valve opening.

    摘要: A liquid pump has a housing with a suction connection, a pressure connection and a electric motor for rotationally driving a conveying device that has a suction inlet and pressure outlet which communicate with the suction connection and the pressure connection respectively. An electronic power unit for the electric motor is adjacent to the motor and extends transversely to the axis of rotation and is on the rear side of the partition wall of the housing. The suction inlet is arranged at a height smaller than an inner radius of an annular gap between the stator and rotor, whereas a rotor passage extends at a constant height, so that a liquid inducted by way of the suction connection is guided in part via the annular gap and undergoes a deflection at the partition wall, cooling the latter before it passes through the rotor passage to the suction inlet.

    摘要: The invention concerns a rotor machine and an impeller, of which the rotor machine is intended to function as a liquid pump or as an agitator in a fluid such as a liquid or a colloid, whereby the rotor machine has a pump casing (1) with an impeller (2) mounted in bearings in a manner that allows rotation around an axis (X), and in which the rotor machine has three principal flow pathways, comprising: —an axial inlet opening (4) with a defined area of opening (Ain) —a radially oriented outlet opening (5) with a defined area of opening (Aut), and —a series of radially extending blades (3) that, distributed around the circumference of the impeller, form between them a number of flow channels (22:1-22:n). In order to achieve an improved working capacity, the area of opening (Ain) of the inlet opening (4), the area of opening (Aut) of the outlet opening and the total effective area of opening of the flow channels (22:1-22:n) that extends through the impeller are so mutually designed that the three principal passages of the rotor machine are filled and emptied of the said fluid in an essentially equal manner.
