    摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to improved water closet flanges and methods for installing such water closet flanges. In one exemplary embodiment, an improved water closet flange apparatus includes an outer flange and a flexible conduit portion (i.e. sleeve) extending downwardly therefrom. The flexible sleeve has a sufficient degree of flexibility to accommodate connection between offset, misaligned, angled, or otherwise incongruous plumbing fixture discharges and waste drain pipe outlets. In one embodiment, the flexible sleeve includes at least one corrugated portion to aid the desired flexibility. An upper portion of the flexible sleeve may include an inwardly extending lip portion to accommodate the desired seal between the plumbing fixture discharge and the flange apparatus. Related methods for installing the disclosed flange apparatus between plumbing fixture discharges and waste drainpipes are also described.

In order for the dependable production of a branch pipe with virtually any desired design of the branch to be made possible in a simple way it is proposed that an elongate, straight main curvature and at least two lateral curvatures, respectively branching off from a longitudinal side of the main curvature, lying opposite each other with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the main curvature extending in the material of the blank and having a mirror-symmetrically arranged base line are formed from a blank by deep-drawing. After the forming operations, the blank is trimmed in such a way that a vessel-like shell part, which is open in the longitudinal direction, is formed from the main curvature, and half-sleeves, which adjoin the shell part, lie in the same plane as the shell part and are open in the direction of their extent, are formed from the lateral curvatures, and that sheet metal strips serving as joining flanges extend along the outside of the lateral edges of the shell part and the half-sleeves. Subsequently, the shell part is bent about a spatial axis parallel to the central longitudinal axis until the joining flanges corresponding to one another on both sides of the shell part lie against one another, and, after that, the joining flanges are connected to one another.

    摘要: A faucet cartridge puller assembly operable to remove a broken defective primary valve cartridge assembly from a faucet valve assembly which is utilized on a kitchen faucet valve assembly, a bath/shower faucet valve assembly, or a bathroom sink faucet valve assembly, all being used in substantially identical manner. The faucet cartridge puller assembly includes 1) a cartridge removal tool assembly adapted to be mountable within a cartridge barrel opening of a damaged primary valve cartridge assembly; and 2) a cartridge removal bolt member mountable within the cartridge removal tool assembly to achieve final axial movement of a damaged primary valve cartridge assembly being removed for replacement. The cartridge removal tool assembly includes a main removal tool body having an intermediate body section with external tap threads operable to be rotated and create threads with the damaged primary valve cartridge assembly so as to pull same longitudinally from a main valve housing. The cartridge removal bolt member is operable to be mounted within a central opening in the cartridge removal tool assembly after it has been attached by mating threads with the primary valve cartridge assembly. The cartridge removal bolt member is rotatable within compatible threads in a lower outer body end section of the cartridge removal tool assembly. An outer abutment end of the cartridge removal bolt member is engageable with a bottom wall of the main valve housing of the faucet valve assembly to cause conjoint axial movement of the interconnected damaged primary valve cartridge assembly and the cartridge removal tool assembly. This causes a loosening of the binding conditions between the primary valve cartridge assembly and the main valve housing so that it can be removed for replacement with a new primary valve cartridge assembly.

An alternative exemplary embodiment has a universal upper portion with the diffuser openings therein which accepts various sizes of lower portions for different central cavity sizes.
