    摘要: A method for producing a metal sleeve includes providing a first metal sleeve semi-finished product having a metal body. The metal body surrounds an inner channel. At least one groove is located in the metal body on the side of the inner channel. The first metal sleeve semi-finished product is pressed into a first die by means of a punch and in the process is formed by impact extrusion into the metal sleeve to be produced. The first die is designed such that a proximal front edge, which is spaced apart from the distal front edge and delimits the groove in the proximal direction, is formed in the metal body on the side of the inner channel. A metal sleeve includes a metal body which surrounds an inner channel running between a proximal and a distal opening. The inner channel has at least one groove set back into the metal body, running in the longitudinal direction of the inner channel and stepped on both sides by a distal and a proximal front edge. The proximal front edge of the groove is produced by impact extrusion. A method for producing a gearbox is provided.

    摘要: There is provided a method of manufacturing a metal shell formed body by cold forging for a metal shell of a spark plug. In the manufacturing method, a semi-finished formed body is first provided with a second inner step without the formation of an annular front end portion. After the semi-finished formed body is inserted from its front end side into a die, a punch having an annular is pushed into the semi-finished formed body from its rear end side. By pushing the punch, an annular front-facing surface of the punch is pushed onto the second inner step so as to press a front end portion of the formed body against an annular front end portion forming part of the die. By such a forming step, the metal shell formed body is obtained in which the annular front end portion is formed by extrusion.

    摘要: A metal shell of a glow plug mounted on an engine head of a diesel engine and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The metal shell has an improved multi-stage structure, which allows the metal shell to be easily manufactured regardless of overall length of the metal shell and allows a metal shell section fastened to the engine head and at least one of the other metal shell sections to have different material strengths, thereby increasing fastening strength of the metal shell to the engine head and preventing warpage of the metal shell while improving productivity while reducing manufacturing costs. The metal shell of a glow plug for diesel engines according to the invention includes a plurality of metal shell sections disposed in an axial direction of the glow plug and having different material strengths.
