摘要： A seat puller removes a valve seat or bushing from a structure such as a fluid pump. The seat puller may be formed of a shaft having a threaded adjusting nut fastening region, a central shaft region, a land region, a cone shaft region and an end stopper region. The seat puller includes a slide lock jaw held onto the shaft at the land region by a spring. The spring permits the slide lock jaw to open slightly and thereby permits the slide lock jaw to slide down the shaft to the cone shaft region. This causes the slide lock jaw to open and engage the internal and bottom surfaces of a seat with its outer circumference, thereby permitting the seat puller to remove the seat from the structure in which it is seated.

The rotary valve element is operated to selectively direct the flow of food product from the two food pumps in alternating fashion through a single manifold outlet. The food pumps are driven by servo actuated cylinders. A tool is provided for lifting the valve element from the manifold that includes a pivotal removal bar that can be attached to a top of the valve element.

摘要： Apparatus and methods for removing valve cover components includes a torque transfer tool that mates with an extending portion of the valve cover assembly and has a multi-faceted segment to receive a torque-supplying wrench. A hydraulically-actuated wrench has a head with a multi-faceted portion that engages the corresponding multi-faceted segment of the torque transfer tool. The wrench's hydraulic cylinder rotates the wrench head upon actuation. The multifaceted segments can be splined. Also disclosed is a reaction tube against which the wrench can be braced prior to actuation of the cylinder.

The temporary ball valve support allows a downstream seal member and the ball valve retainer housing assembly to be removed. This allows the outer seal and retainer to be replaced and/or serviced without allowing fluid to escape from the tank or pipe. First and second ball support members are alternately used to force the ball member against the upstream seal member.
