    Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems are described for a system including a rotation motor configured to rotate a valve seal holder, the valve seal holder having at least one pass-through interface and closed-off interface, a camshaft coupled to the valve seal holder, and a controller communicatively coupled to the rotation motor and the camshaft. The controller is configured to separate at least one of the pass-through interface or the closed-off interface of the valve seal holder from the seat configured to interface with the external system. The controller is configured to rotate, using the rotation motor, the valve seal holder until at least one of the pass-through interface or the closed-off interface is aligned with the seat. The controller is configured to compress the at least one of the pass-through interface or the closed-off interface against the seat to create a seal over the seat.

    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a valve removal (VR) system for an oilfield equipment includes a VR plug having a first surface and a second surface. The VR system includes a bushing to be removably associated with the first surface. The bushing is to extend, at least partly, beyond the second surface of the VR plug. The bushing is also to contact an inner surface of a valve of the oilfield equipment and to prevent the second surface from contacting the inner surface of the valve. The VR system includes a guiding rod to be associated with the VR plug to support guidance of the VR plug through the valve of the oilfield equipment. The guiding rod is also to be disassociated from the VR plug to support removal of the guiding rod from the valve with the VR plug remaining in the oilfield equipment.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for valve cartridge extraction from a valve assembly, wherein the assembly includes a valve member body, a cartridge, and a valve cartridge extraction (VCE) tool comprising at least one pin disposed on the upper surface of the VCE tool. During cartridge removal, the VCE tool is uncoupled from the valve member body and is coupled to the cartridge with the at least one pin. The cartridge is rotated with the coupled VCE tool to assist in cartridge removal. The valve assembly may also include a hood covering the VCE tool.

    Abstract: A method of cutting and removing a section of prestressed concrete cylinder pipe and then installing a replacement valve while the pipeline is fully pressurized uses a replacement valve body (22) with two cylinders (223, 225) that match the openings of the cut pipe (35). Inside each of the two cylinders (223, 225) is a cut-covering assembly (62) which includes a cylindrical elastomeric seal (26) and spring tube (25), and a cross brace (27) extends between two surfaces within the spring tube (25). The replacement valve body (22) further includes a rotatable valve (24) in a central portion of the valve, and when the cylinder ends of the replacement valve body (22) are positioned adjacent the bores of cut pipe ends (36), the valve (24) can be rotated to push the elastomeric seals (26) of each of the cut-covering assemblies (62) into the bores of the cut pipe ends (36), thereby covering gaps (77) created when the pipe (35) was cut and placing the pipe ends (36) in fluid-tight engagement with the replacement valve body (22).

    Abstract: A system for retrieving a failed inner check valve that is part of an injection fitting includes a hollow isolation valve assembly that includes a first section and a second section that is detachable from the first section. The first section includes a first valve and the second section including a relief valve. The first valve moves between a closed position in which the first section is completely occluded and an open position and can be in the form of a ball valve. The system also includes an extraction tool that is configured to be coupled to and advanced along the isolation valve assembly. An elongated inner key is configured to be received into and pass through the hollow isolation valve assembly. A distal end of the inner key is configured to engage and unscrew the failed internal check valve for removal thereof.
