摘要: Provided is a blast furnace gas burning facility with a simple configuration and capable of operating at nearly rated load while preventing a wet type dust collector from freezing under such conditions that the temperature of blast furnace gas does not exceed the freezing lower-limit temperature of the wet type dust collector, and also provided is a method for operating the blast furnace gas burning facility. In a blast furnace gas burning facility 1 that burns blast furnace gas discharged from a blast furnace by supplying the gas to a combustor 2 after removing dust contained in the gas with a wet type dust collector 7 and compressing the gas with a fuel gas compressor 8, a fuel-gas heating channel 12 is disposed between the outlet side of the fuel gas compressor 8 and the inlet side of the wet type dust collector 7 or the wet type dust collector 7 to extract a high-temperature, high-pressure gas compressed by the fuel gas compressor 8 to the inlet side of the wet type dust collector 7 or into the wet type dust collector 7 if the temperature of the blast furnace gas flowing into the wet type dust collector 7 is detected and the temperature does not exceed a predetermined lower limit temperature.

摘要: A valve (100) for controlling gas flow for a gas heating which allows, as different embodiments, (1) A gradual and smooth transition from high flow to low flow. This is achieved by a rotatable control means (108) wherein the valve body or control means has a taping groove (134) on an annular path intersecting with a port to allow variation in flow rate as the control means rotates. (2) The ganging together into modular form of several valve units with the inlet ports forming a common inlet manifold. (3) The control means, at least, is a plastic, eg nylon. (4) The switching to off from either high or low flow is allowed. But the switching from off to on is directly to high flow. The switching from off to on is prevented from going to low flow directly

摘要: A thermostat for cooking appliances powered by gas includes a body defining an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit that receive a gas flow from a supply source and to supply it to a gas burner, and a chamber having a substantially cylindrical shape that is in fluid communication with the inlet conduit, and also with the outlet conduit either directly, through a main opening formed at one end thereof, or indirectly, through a secondary conduit formed in the body of the thermostat. The gas flows into the outlet conduit bypassing the main opening. A one-piece valve adjusting the gas flow rate is coaxially fitted in the chamber and guided by its peripheral walls. These features make the structural configuration of the thermostat body and its conduits is much more compact, functional and less expensive than in thermostats known in the art.

摘要: A gas supply control device for an apparatus, particularly a coking apparatus, includes timing means (20) and a first command means (12) for manually setting a an opening time interval of a safety valve of a gas tap (1), equipped with a second command means (6). In an installed condition of the control device (10), the command means (6, 12) are operable from outside the structure (7) of the apparatus, with the first command means (12) and the second command means (6) substantially rotating around one same axis, one independent from the other. The timing means (20) of the control device (10) belong to a functional unit (10a) which is coupled or configured for coupling with a portion of the body of the tap (2) which portion, in the above mentioned installed conditions, is located inside the structure (7) of the apparatus. The functional unit (10a) includes switch means (22), controllable by timing means for cutting off the electric current to a solenoid of the tap (1) at the end of a time interval set through the first command means (6), and hence causing the passage of the valve to the respective closed condition.

摘要: An underwater vehicle includes systems for harvesting ambient hydrostatic pressure and storing the same as a gas pressure in a compressed gas system and as a water pressure in a pressurized electrolysis system. The gas pressure is used to perform mechanical work or to generate electrical power via a prime mover. The water pressure is used to release pressurized hydrogen and oxygen gases via electrolysis. The pressurized hydrogen and oxygen gases are used in a combustion chamber to generate propulsion power for the underwater vehicle.

摘要: A system and method for providing fuel mixes a first fuel with a second fuel at a mixing point to create a mixed fuel having a first calorie content. A control valve is located upstream of the mixing point. A process system downstream of the mixing point processes the mixed fuel to create a processed mixed fuel having a second calorie content. A first control signal is reflective of the first calorie content of the mixed fuel. A second control signal is reflective of the second calorie content of the processed mixed fuel. A third control signal is reflective of the operating level of the combustion engine. A controller connected to the control valve operates the control valve based on the first, second, and third control signals.

摘要: The blast furnace gas burning facility prevents a wet type dust collector from freezing under such conditions that the temperature of blast furnace gas does not exceed the freezing lower-limit temperature of the wet type dust collector. The blast furnace gas burning facility 1 burns blast furnace gas discharged from a blast furnace by supplying the gas to a combustor 2 after removing dust with a wet type dust collector 7 and compressing the gas with a compressor 8. A fuel-gas heating channel 12 is disposed between the outlet side of the compressor and the inlet side of the wet type dust collector. When the temperature of the blast furnace gas flowing into the wet type dust collector is lower than a lower limit temperature, a high-temperature, high-pressure gas compressed by the compressor is diverged and supplied into the inlet side of the wet type dust collector.
