    摘要: A gas flow-timer assembly for use with a barbecue gas grill having at least one burner valve with a first burner controller to heat at least one corresponding grill burner. The first burner controller is disposable onto a first burner valve. The gas flow-timer assembly also includes a gas flow-timer manifold disposable onto a gas input line from the gas source. The gas flow-timer manifold is also disposable onto a gas output line connected to the first burner valve. The gas flow-timer manifold further includes a gas flow-timer to regulate the delivery of gas from the gas flow-timer manifold, through the gas output line, to the first burner valve for a selected duration of time.

    摘要: A gas appliance monitoring apparatus for automatically detecting and alerting to a “gas-out” condition of a gas appliance during operation, and/or for alerting to the presence of prolonged “gas-on” conditions of an appliance. The apparatus utilizes a highly sensitive low loss and low flow gas flow indicator with multiple flow sensors to monitor the gas flow characteristics of the appliance during use. A gas flow analyzer and alarm timing mechanism analyzes the gas flow characteristics and sounds an alarm at the appliance or wirelessly at a remote location upon detection of either of the above conditions. A biasing attraction magnet is incorporated in the fluid flow indicator to offset either the force of gravity or a return spring in low flow/low pressure applications. The piston is sealed for use in high pressure/low flow applications, and provided with a vent hole for residual gas bleed-off upon a stoppage of gas flow.

    摘要: A large-scale combustion system has a fuel line having a burner end, a burner at the burner end of the fuel line, a source of fuel flowing through the fuel line to the burner, a hot surface igniter adjacent to the fuel line, a flame holder disposed adjacent to the hot surface igniter, and a source of igniter combustion air. The hot surface igniter is activated to ignite the source of fuel, the ignited fuel leaving the burner, and the hot surface igniter is protected from a heat caused by the ignited fuel. A flame detector detects ignition of the source of fuel and in response to detection of ignition the hot surface igniter is deactivated.

The rich and lean phases may be determined according to a flame position relative to a diverging fuel jet.
