摘要: A system for light-off detection in a gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a computing device that has memory and a processor. The computing device is configured to execute a data module and a comparison module. The data module is programmed to access data that corresponds to a present rotational speed of a gas turbine engine component. The comparison module is programmed to cause an indicator to be generated in response to determining that an acceleration rate relating to the present rotational speed meets at least one predetermined acceleration threshold, the indicator relating to an engine light-off condition.

摘要: A gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance includes a normally aspirated primary burner and a concentrically-positioned forced air boost burner. A dual-outlet control valve provides a flow of primary fuel to the primary burner through a first outlet and a flow of boost fuel to the boost burner through a second outlet. The boost burner operates by receiving the flow of boost fuel and a flow of combustion air from a forced air supply source only when the primary burner is operating in a low condition.

摘要: A procedure for igniting a combustion chamber of a turbine engine, the chamber being fed with fuel by injectors and including an igniter mechanism igniting the fuel injected into the chamber. The procedure includes an initial stage during which fuel is injected into the chamber at a constant rate while simultaneously exciting the igniter mechanism, and in event of non-ignition of the chamber at an end of the initial stage, a second stage during which a rate at which fuel is injected is increased rapidly by 20% to 30%.

摘要: Controlling a modulating gas furnace by monitoring a differential pressure associated with the modulating gas furnace using a low pressure limit switch configured to actuate at a first pressure, an intermediate pressure limit switch configured to actuate at a second pressure, and a high pressure limit switch configured to actuate at a third pressure, the second pressure being between the first and third pressure, selectively operating the modulating gas furnace in one of a cycling mode, a modulating mode in a lower range, and a modulating mode in an upper range, the modulating mode in the lower range being associated with an output capacity range between the output capacity ranges of the cycling mode and the modulating mode in the upper range, and selectively operating the furnace in response to at least one of the low pressure limit switch, the intermediate pressure limit switch, and the high pressure limit switch.
