摘要: Disclosed is a dual-fuel heater having one or more thermocouples that operate a control valve that, in turn, controls whether fuel is distributed from a regulator to a burner based on the signal generated by the thermocouple(s). Further disclosed is a primary fuel selector valve that selects the fuel being used based on the operation of a user. The primary fuel selector valve provides fuel to the control valve upstream from the thermocouples, allowing for upstream control mechanisms such as a slave valve, to control the flow of fuel to the control valve.

摘要: In certain embodiments, a valve assembly can comprise a housing, a valve body and a nozzle. The housing can define a first inlet and a second inlet. The valve body can be positioned within the housing and configured to rotate between a first position for a first fuel type and a second position for a second fuel type different from the first. A control knob is operatively coupled to the valve body and to an air shutter such that rotation of the control knob controls the state of the valve body and the position of the air shutter.

摘要: A dynamic seal assembly is disclosed for use in a valve having an upstream pressure side and a downstream pressure side, the dynamic seal assembly including an annular seal member having a generally C-shaped cross-section and including opposed upstream and downstream legs defining an internal cavity with an opening facing toward the upstream pressure side of the valve, wherein the upstream leg has a radial length that is greater than a radial length of the downstream leg and includes a retaining foot that extends angularly away from the upstream leg in an upstream direction at an angle of between about 0° and 90°, and a metallic spring is disposed within the internal cavity of the seal member for providing a constant sealing force to the seal member.

摘要: A regeneration system includes a housing defining an exhaust flow path. An inlet of the housing is configured to receive an exhaust flow from the internal combustion engine and an outlet of the housing is configured to direct the exhaust flow toward an exhaust aftertreatment component. A combustion head is coupled with the housing and configured to direct air and fuel to a combustion chamber in fluid communication with the exhaust flow path. A fuel supply passage is defined by the combustion head and is in fluid communication with the combustion chamber. The regeneration system also includes a valve and filter assembly disposed within the fuel supply passage. The valve and filter assembly includes an assembly housing defining a reduced fuel supply passage, a filter material coupled with the assembly housing, and a check valve at least partially disposed within the reduced fuel supply passage.

摘要: A flow balancing valve for a multistage combustor includes a first pressure feedback line, a first burn line, and a first metering port fluidly connected to the first fuel injector. The flow balancing valve further includes a second pressure feedback line, a second burn line, and a second metering port fluidly connected to the second fuel injector. A metering land is located between and defines sizes of the first metering port and the second metering port. An increase in pressure differential between the first pressure feedback line and the second pressure feedback line causes a compensatory movement in the metering land to balance fuel flow for the first fuel injector and the second fuel injector.

摘要: A fuel-injection device in a turbomachine is disclosed. The device includes a high-pressure pump supplying a flow control valve, whose outlet is connected via a pressurization and cut-off valve to a fuel-injector feed pipe. The valve is connected to the inlet and to the outlet of the pump in order to define two fuel pressurization thresholds, one of which is used to start-up and restart the turbomachine and the other is used for operating the turbomachine from an idle speed and for commanding an equipment with variable geometry.

摘要: A valve assembly (10) comprises a valve body (20), a first valve (22a), a second valve (22b), and a manual override device (24). The valve body (20) defines a first inlet (30a), a second inlet (30b), and an outlet (32). Each valve (22a/22b) includes a plunger (68a/68b) that is electrically movable between a position whereat the corresponding inlet (30a/30b) communicates with the outlet (32) and a position whereat the inlet (30a/30b) is sealed from the outlet (32). The override device (24) is manually movable to override positions whereat the electrical control of one of the valves (22a/22b) is overridden and the plunger's seat-sealing surface (72a/72b) is caused to move so that the corresponding inlet (30a/30b) communicates with the outlet (32).
