摘要: The invention is a method that combines the following components: 1. a high pass filter designed to have sufficiently small phase delay and roll-off value in transition band as well as sufficiently good attenuation; 2. a distortion detection and reconstruction introduced by the application of the high pass filter by extraction the significant frequency components in relevant frequency band; 3. a signal compensation that reshapes the output of the high pass filter by matching the filter's phase delay and attenuation characteristics so as to approximate low frequency component extraction that would be produced by an ideal filter (very sharp frequency transition and no delay); 4. a time-domain detection and correction method that addresses special circumstances under which the compensation would be inaccurate to achieve real-time estimate in normal circumstances, and 5. a time-domain correction method during and immediately after sudden changes in composite signal (spike) is detected.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for an adjustable filter engine. In particular, an electronic system is provided that can include a focus module, memory, and control circuitry. In some embodiments, the focus module can include an adjustable filter engine and a motor. By using the adjustable filter engine to generate a filter with a large number of filter coefficients, the control circuitry can accommodate a variety of system characteristics. For example, by generating a set of cumulative coefficients and re-arranging the order of the cumulative coefficients, the control circuitry can reduce the bit-width requirements of the adjustable filter engine hardware. For instance, the control circuitry can reduce the number of multipliers required to perform a convolution between an updated filter and one or more input signals. In some embodiments, the updated filter can be generated to reduce oscillations of the motor movement due to a new position request.

摘要: The technology described in this document can be embodied in a computer-implemented method that includes receiving, by one or more processing devices, a first plurality of values representing a set of coefficients of an adaptive filter disposed in an active noise cancellation system. The method also includes accessing one or more estimates of instantaneous phase values associated with a transfer function representing an effect of a secondary path of the active noise cancellation system, and updating the first plurality of values based on the one or more estimates of the instantaneous phase values to generate a set of updated coefficients for the adaptive filter. The method further includes programming the adaptive filter with the set of updated coefficients to affect operation of the adaptive filter.

摘要: A filter apparatus (100) having a signal input (101) to which an input signal is applied which contains a useful component and a noise component, a fast signal path (102) and a slow signal path (103) arranged in parallel therewith. The fast signal path and the slow signal path are coupled to the signal input. The fast signal path contains a filter in order to prompt fast filtering of the input signal. The slow signal path contains a filter in order to prompt slow filtering of the input signal. An output of the slow signal path is coupled to the fast signal path by means of a signal line (106). A signal output (104) which is coupled to the fast signal path has an output signal applied to it which essentially contains useful components of the input signal.

摘要: One apparatus includes a notch filter that has a state observer unit and a parameter adaptation unit. The state observer unit is configured to receive a sampled noisy electrical signal and a sampled filtered electrical signal, the state observer unit having an estimated noise signal output, the estimated noise signal output carrying an estimated noise signal to be subtracted from the sampled noisy electrical signal, resulting in the filtered electrical signal. The parameter adaptation unit is configured to receive the estimated noise signal and an error signal from the state observer unit. The parameter adaptation unit is also configured to determine, based on the estimated noise signal and the error signal, an updated estimated noise frequency, thereby causing the state observer unit to generate an updated estimated noise signal to be provided on the estimated noise signal output.
