    摘要: A circuit arrangement for providing impedance translation filtering comprises a first path and a second path. In a base band variant the first path is a feed forward path which comprises first and second series connected transconductance gain stages (10, 12), and the second path is a feedback which comprises third and fourth transconductance gain stages (18, 20), each having an inverting output. An output of the first gain stage is coupled to an input of the fourth gain stage. In operation, the impedance presented at its output determines the impedance presented at an input of the circuit arrangement.

    摘要: A reciprocal impedance conversion network is disclosed. Such conversion network preferably is used in a reciprocal negative impedance repeater for the nonloaded cable facilities of a telephone system. Two independent voltage sources for generating reciprocal negative impedance are connected between a first port and a second port. The first port is operably connected to the first voltage source such that a series negative impedance appears at that port. This port is specifically connected to the switching equipment of the telephone system. The second port is operably connected to the second voltage source such that a shunt negative impedance appears at that port. The second port is specifically connected to the nonloaded cable facilities of the telephone system. The invention further provides a frequency dependent gain circuit which is useful for equalizing the losses along the nonloaded cable facilities. In addition, the invention provides an unconditional stability test for the reciprocal negative impedance repeater which may be performed substantially without test equipment.

    摘要: An arrangement includes a transformer having a primary winding and a secondary winding, the transformer exhibiting an impedance across the primary winding, and an impedance synthesis circuit. The impedance synthesis circuit includes a transfer function element having a frequency spectrum. The transfer function element has associated a gain element and a current source controlled by the transfer function element. The impedance synthesis circuit is connected to said secondary winding, so that the transformer mirrors the impedance synthesized by the impedance synthesis circuit into the impedance across said primary winding. The primary winding is adapted to define the high voltage side of an XDSL splitter, while the impedance synthesis circuit connected to the secondary winding is inherently a low voltage circuit.

    摘要: A matching unit includes a switching means for switching an inductance of a first inductor. This switching means sets an inductance such that a first inductor shows an inductance property to both of the VHF low-band and high-band, and shows a capacitance property to the UHF band. This structure allows the matching unit to achieve the matching for both the VHF low-band and high-band by just switching the two circuits of the VHF low-band and high-band, also allows the matching unit to show a capacitance property to the UHF band. Thus the loss produced in transmitting signals can be reduced, and the circuit can be simplified. As a result, the matching unit can be downsized, and the cost can be reduced.
