摘要: Implementations disclosed describe techniques to allow wireless devices to initially connect with randomized MAC addresses and send an encrypted permanent MAC for differentiated services. In one method, a first wireless device connects to an access point (AP) using a randomized MAC address. The first wireless device receives a request for a permanent MAC address from the AP. The first wireless device determines whether to send the permanent MAC address. Responsive to determining to send the permanent MAC address, the first wireless device encrypts the permanent MAC address to obtain an encrypted MAC address and sends a response to the request, including the encrypted MAC address, to the AP.

摘要: The present technology relates to improving computing services in a distributed network of remote computing resources, such as edge nodes in an edge compute network. In an aspect, the technology relates to a method that includes aggregating historical request data for a plurality of requests, wherein the aggregated historical request data a time of the request, a location of a device from which the request originated, and/or a type of service being requested. The method also incudes training a machine learning model based on the aggregated historical request data; generating, from the trained machine learning model, a prediction for a type of service to be request; identifying an edge node, from a plurality of edge nodes, based on a physical location of the edge node; and based on predicted service, allocating computing resources for the computing service on the identified edge node.

摘要: A method for utilizing, by a virtual private network (VPN) server, a first exit internet protocol (IP) address to communicate data associated with a user device having an established VPN connection with the VPN server; suspending, by the VPN server for a given duration of time, utilizing the first exit IP address to communicate the data associated with the user device based at least in part on receiving a notification indicating that an amount of data communicated utilizing the first exit IP address satisfies a data threshold; and re-utilizing, by VPN server at an expiration of the given duration of time, the first exit IP address to communicate the data associated with the user device during the established VPN connection. A gateway device receives a first association request of a multimode device through a first physical interface, where the first association request includes a MAC address of a second physical interface of the multimode device. The gateway device receives a second association request of the multimode device through a third physical interface, where the second association request includes a MAC address of a fourth physical interface of the multimode device. The gateway device obtains an IPv6 address of the multimode device, and records a first correspondence and a second correspondence. The first correspondence includes the IPv6 address of the multimode device, the MAC address of the second physical interface, and the first physical interface. The second correspondence includes the IPv6 address of the multimode device, the MAC address of the fourth physical interface, and the third physical interface.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for seamlessly redirecting network data between a client and a remote server. In one exemplary aspect, the method comprises receiving, at a remote server, the network data via a first remote desktop protocol (RDP) channel, wherein the network data is encapsulated and transmitted by a client device configured to communicate with the remote server. The method further comprises replacing a MAC address listed in the network data with a MAC address of a logical network adapter on the remote server, and placing received network packets into a network driver of the logical network adapter, wherein the logical network adapter transfers received data in an operating system of the remote server such that a server-side application on the remote server receives network packets from the client device.

摘要: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method for deploying network elements for a set of machines in a set of one or more datacenters. The datacenter set is part of one availability zone in some embodiments. The method receives intent-based API (Application Programming Interface) requests, and parses these API requests to identify a set of network elements to connect and/or perform services for the set of machines. In some embodiments, the API is a hierarchical document that can specify multiple different compute and/or network elements at different levels of compute and/or network element hierarchy. The method performs automated processes to define a virtual private cloud (VPC) to connect the set of machines to a logical network that segregates the set of machines from other machines in the datacenter set. In some embodiments, the set of machines include virtual machines and containers, the VPC is defined with a supervisor cluster namespace, and the API requests are provided as YAML files.

摘要: A technique for embedding and utilizing credentials in a network address may include requesting a network address for a client device by providing an account identifier to a server computer associated with a service provider. A network address that is mapped to the account identifier can be assigned to the client device. The network address may include a routing prefix field and a network interface identifier field. The routing prefix field may include an issuer identifier of an issuer of the account, and the network interface identifier field may include an interface identifier that maps to the account identifier. By embedding credentials such as an account identifier in the network address, the actual account identifier need not be transmitted to perform actions on the account.

摘要: A communication network device facilitates communication between devices and/or applications in a network without requiring each device to register with every other device or application. The communication network device may generate and assign a unique identifier to each device or application upon registration and store a role of the device or application (e.g., sender or receiver or both) in addition to capability and compatibility information. The communication network device may then dynamically broker and manage communications from each of the devices or applications to other devices and applications in real-time. Using a communication network device, communications may be directed to devices or applications without requiring a sending device to know of the recipient's network address. Additionally, the communication network device allows for the direct targeting of communications to specific applications. Accordingly, in some arrangements, two applications running on the same device may receive different communications from another device or application.
