    摘要: The present disclosure provides an OLED pixel unit, a method for producing the same, a display panel and a display apparatus. The OLED pixel unit includes an organic light emitting diode configured to emit a light within a wavelength range; and a photonic crystal array located at a light exit side of the organic light emitting diode, structural parameters of the photonic crystal array depending on a preset color of the OLED pixel unit. The light emitted from the OLED has a wavelength which is selected by the photonic crystal array such that the preset color is presented at the light exit side of the OLED. It can achieve high resolution over the conventional means due to the photonic crystal array having a machining size in nanometers. Thus, the resolution of the OLED pixel unit using the photonic crystal array can be improved significantly.

    摘要: A display panel comprises a first substrate and a second substrate which are assembled to form a cell and a control unit. The first substrate is provided with a plurality of first light-emitting units which are double-sided light emitting devices thereon, and the second substrate is provided with a plurality of second light-emitting units which are double-sided light emitting devices thereon. The control unit is configured to control the first light-emitting units and the second light-emitting units to emit light or not to emit light. The display panel further comprises a grating-function layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The grating-function layer comprises controllable light blocking regions and controllable light transmissive regions, and the light blocking regions and the light transmissive regions cooperate with the first light-emitting units and the second light-emitting units to realize single-sided display or double-sided display.

    摘要: A double-faced display panel and a double-faced display device including the double-faced display panel are provided. The double-faced display panel includes: a first display sub-unit, provided with a first display surface and a first non-display surface opposite to each other; a second display sub-unit, provided with a second display surface and a second non-display surface opposite to each other, and arranged back to back with the first display sub-unit, the second non-display surface facing the first non-display surface; and a reflection unit, arranged between the first display sub-unit and the second display sub-unit, wherein the reflection unit is configured to reflect display light emitted from the first display sub-unit back to the first display sub-unit and reflect display light emitted from the second display sub-unit back to the second display sub-unit. As the reflection unit is adopted, the displaying light emitted from the first display sub-unit and the second display sub-unit and travelling to the non-display surfaces can be reflected and reused, thus improving light utilization of the double-faced display device, improving brightness of the double-faced display device and enabling the double-faced display device to have a better contrast.

    摘要: A circularly polarizing plate includes a polarizing film, a first optically anisotropic layer, and a second optically anisotropic layer in this order, in which the first optically anisotropic layer contains a twisted aligned liquid crystal compound of which a helical axis is a thickness direction thereof, a helix angle of the liquid crystal compound is 28.6±10°, an absorption axis of the polarizing film and an in-plane slow axis of the second optically anisotropic layer are parallel or orthogonal to each other, Δnd and ReB(550) respectively fall in predetermined value ranges. The circularly polarizing plate can sufficiently suppress the mixing of black with other colors in a front direction when being stuck on a display apparatus. A retardation plate used for the circularly polarizing plate and an organic EL display apparatus that have the circularly polarizing plate are also provided.

    摘要: An emissive display system includes an electro-optic device having a first substantially transparent substrate including first and second surfaces, at least one of which includes a first electrically conductive layer. A second substantially transparent substrate includes third and fourth surfaces, at least one of which includes a second electrically conductive layer. A primary seal is disposed around perimeter portions of the first and second substrates, which define a cavity therebetween. An electro-optic medium is disposed in the cavity and is variably transmissive such that the electro-optic device is operable between substantially clear and darkened states. A plurality of beads are disposed in a central portion of the cavity and are movable to a perimeter portion of the cavity. A substantially transparent light emitting display is disposed adjacent to the electro-optic device, which is in the darkened state when the light emitting display is emitting light.
