A surface coating agent to be coated on the surface of an elastic molding die, which is a solvent solution of a polyurethane obtained by reacting a polyol with an aromatic polyisocyanate. The surface coating agent can be coated on the inside surface of the elastic molding die to form a coating layer, thereby obtaining a molding with surface gloss. Further, the surface coating agent can be incorporated with silicone and/or a fluorine compound to improve oil resistance of the elastic molding die, preventing the elastic molding die from being swollen by oil components of a molding material and improving durability. When a polyether type polyol is used as the polyol, water resistance of the elastic molding die can be even further improved. The surface coating agent using polycarbonatepolyol as the polyol has improved adhesion to the elastic molding die, thereby improving the durability. Further, the surface coating layer can be even more securely bonded to the surface of the elastic molding die by coating the surface coating agent after primer coating, or after acid treatment, or after acid treatment and primer coating.

When the olefin to ester ratio is 0.5 to 4.0 the .alpha.-olefins may have 10-16 C-atoms and the .alpha.-.beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid is esterified with straight-chain and/or branched monoalcohol of 3-10 carbon atoms. When the ratio is less than 2.0 the .alpha.-olefin is C.sub.16 and the esterifying component may be C.sub.4 -C.sub.10 alcohol. The copolymers are useful as synthetic lubricating oils, mineral oil additives, lubricant additives and as lubricants for the shaping treatment of thermoplastic plastics.

The present invention relates to a device for processing plastic waste, such as packaging foil of polyvinylchloride, polyethylene, polypropylene etc. into blocks by compressing it in a container. The processing of the plastic waste is achieved by compressing with a punch at a temperature of 120.degree.-180.degree. C. and a pressure of 250-400 g/cm.sup.2 and preferably at a temperature of 140.degree.-160.degree. C. and a pressure of 260-290 g/cm.sup.2, followed by cooling with air. The cooling is carried out by the introduction of air in the container by a fan, which cooling takes place in 5-15 minutes, and preferably 8-10 minutes. The device of the invention is provided with a punch, whereas the inner surfaces of said container and/or the punch are provided with a coating in order to prevent said softened and compressed plastic waste from adhering to the walls. The coating is preferably teflon, whereas the heating elements advantageously are electrical heating elements.

Elastomer structures having exposed controlled surface release characteristics can be made by coating at least a portion of their surface with a releasing composition comprising (a) a chlorosulphonated polymer; (b) a reinforcing filler and (c) a green tackifying agent. Optionally, these compositions can also contain a chemical curing system and one or more volatile solvent/diluent viscosity-reducing vehicle. In a specific example, the coating are applied to flexible structures used in machines for the manufacture of articles having natural tack due to their rubber or elastomer content.

Disclosed are several methods of parting rubber from an underlying surface. Polyvinyl alcohol, methylcellulose, starch derivatives and dextran are all suitable parting agents of rubber. Polyvinyl pyrrolidone is a paticularly effective parting agent for use in the formation of balloon-type medical catheters; it is also useful as a parting agent in the formation of synthetic membranes, blood vessels and conduits. The invention includes the method of use of these parting agents as well as the products formed by the disclosed process(es). Also disclosed is a method of forming a synthetic blood vessel of a polymer material, e.g., polyurethane.
