    Abstract: In an aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting first reference signals from a base station using a first set of antenna ports, and receiving first feedback information at the base station from a user equipment (UE). The first feedback information may be associated with the first reference signals. The method includes configuring a first precoder based on the first feedback information, and transmitting second reference signals to the UE based on the configuration of the first precoder. The method includes receiving second feedback information at the base station from the UE. The second feedback information may be associated with the second reference signals. The method includes configuring a second precoder based on the second feedback information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for dynamic frozen bits of polar codes for early termination and performance improvement. A wireless device may receive a signal comprising a codeword encoded using a polar code. The wireless device may perform decoding of the codeword including at least: parity check of a first subset of decoding paths for making a decision on early termination of decoding of the codeword based on dynamic frozen bits, and generating path metrics for a second subset of the decoding paths that each pass the parity check based on the dynamic frozen bits, and performing error detection on a bit sequence corresponding to one of the second subset of the decoding paths based at part on error detection bits and the generated path metrics. The wireless device may process the information bits based on a result of the decoding.

    Abstract: Methods and corresponding apparatuses for wireless communication are disclosed. The method for wireless communication includes dividing a two-dimensional antenna array to a plurality of sub-arrays, mapping the two-dimensional antenna array into a one-dimensional vertical channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) port array for receiving elevation CSI feedback and a one-dimensional horizontal CSI-RS port array for receiving azimuth CSI feedback, and transmitting one or more elevation CSI-RS from the one-dimensional vertical CSI-RS port array and one or more azimuth CSI-RS from the one-dimensional horizontal CSI-RS port array.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Feedback based codebooks for reducing or eliminating interference between orbital angular momentum (OAM) based backhaul communications between a first network node and a second network node and access communications between the first network node and a user equipment (UE) are described. The first network node may transmit a message to a UE indicating a feedback codebook for a set of reference signals associated with OAM modes. The first network node may transmit the reference signals, where each reference signals may be associated with a respective OAM mode. The UE may generate and indicate in a feedback report to the first network node codewords corresponding to UE feedback for the received reference signals. The first network node may communicate with the UE via an access link and with the second network node via a backhaul link based on the feedback report.
