    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Feedback based codebooks for reducing or eliminating interference between orbital angular momentum (OAM) based backhaul communications between a first network node and a second network node and access communications between the first network node and a user equipment (UE) are described. The first network node may transmit a message to a UE indicating a feedback codebook for a set of reference signals associated with OAM modes. The first network node may transmit the reference signals, where each reference signals may be associated with a respective OAM mode. The UE may generate and indicate in a feedback report to the first network node codewords corresponding to UE feedback for the received reference signals. The first network node may communicate with the UE via an access link and with the second network node via a backhaul link based on the feedback report.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support reducing a time domain selectivity of a downlink channel with multiple signal paths. A base station may spatially precode multiple channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) and transmit the spatially precoded CSI-RSs to a user equipment (UE), where at least one spatially precoded CSI-RS may correspond to each signal path. Based on the spatially precoded CSI-RSs, the UE may determine a mean or average Doppler shift for each signal path. The UE may transmit, to the base station, signaling indicative of the respective average Doppler shifts for each signal path. Based on the indication of the Doppler shifts, the base station may spatially and temporally precode one or more downlink transmissions to the UE, which may reduce the time domain selectivity of the downlink channel.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques relate to an early indication, from a base station to a user equipment (UE), that may allow the UE to determine from the first symbol of a synchronization signal block (SSB) if the system information associated with the SSB is intended for the UE. Thus, when the UE receives the indication that the system information is dedicated to the UE, the UE may determine to receive and decode the remaining synchronization signal block, a master information block, a set of control resources, a downlink control channel, and a downlink shared channel to receive the system information. In some cases, the UE may determine that the system information is generic and end decoding during reception of the SSB to conserve computational resources by avoiding unnecessary decoding.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a channel state information (CSI) configuration indicating a first feedback reporting periodicity for a dominant, or strong, spatial layer and a second feedback reporting periodicity for a non-dominant, or weak, spatial layer. The UE may transmit a first CSI report for at least the dominant spatial layer according to the first feedback reporting periodicity. The UE may transmit a second CSI report for the non-dominant spatial layer according to the second feedback reporting periodicity. In some cases, for aperiodic reporting, the UE may be triggered by downlink control information to report CSI for the dominant spatial layer.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A full duplex user equipment (UE) may provide a channel state information (CSI) report to abase station to enable the base station to schedule simultaneous uplink and downlink communications for the full duplex UE. For example, the base station may transmit a CSI report configuration to the UE that indicates for the UE to report a full duplex CSI. In some cases, the CSI report configuration may include the UE to report CSI under a full duplex mode with or without an indication of an uplink bandwidth. Accordingly, the UE may calculate and report the self-full duplex mode CSI to the base station according to the received configuration. The base station may then determine a radio resource allocation and transport format for downlink data transfer and for uplink data transfer under the full duplex mode.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for channel state information (CSI) feedback for multiple discrete Fourier transform (DFT) beams on multiple transmission layers. A user equipment (UE) may report a total number of non-zero power DFT beams across all of the transmission layers. The UE may be configured with a total number of leading beams (Ktotal) across all of the transmission layers for which to provide high quantization feedback. When the total number of non-zero DFT beams across all the transmission layers exceeds the configured total number of leading beams across all the transmission layers, the UE may report high-resolution quantization feedback for Ktotal non-zero power precoding coefficients having the highest amplitude coefficients, and may report low-resolution quantization feedback for the remaining non-zero power precoding coefficients. A base station may receive the CSI feedback to determine a precoding matrix.
