Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), one or more full-duplex symbols of a slot and one or more half-duplex symbols of the slot; determining, by the UE, to use a first type of interleaving for the one or more full-duplex symbols and a second type of interleaving for the one or more half-duplex symbols; frequency domain mapping, by the UE, virtual resources of the slot to physical resources of the slot based on the first type of interleaving and the second type of interleaving; and communicating, by the UE, based on the physical resources. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device and a receiving device may communicate sidelink messages of a second radio access technology (RAT) using a sidelink resource pool signaled using a first RAT. For example, the receiving UE may receive a sidelink control channel associated with the first RAT (e.g., Long Term Evolution (LTE)), may determine a set of time and frequency resources indicated by the sidelink control channel, and then may monitor the set of time and frequency resources to receive a sidelink message associated with the second RAT (e.g., New Radio (NR)). In some implementations, the set of time and frequency resource may be indicated that they may be used for the second RAT via a field in the sidelink control channel or via an additional sidelink message associated with the second RAT transmitted with the sidelink control channel.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for determining a priority ranking for channel state information (CSI) reports based at least in part on a reliability parameter, a latency parameter, or both of resources allocated to a user equipment (UE). In some wireless communications systems, ultra reliable low latency communication (URLLC) services may be interspersed with enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) services. The UE may perform a CSI report prioritization procedure to account for reliability parameters, latency parameters or both. In some cases, CSI reporting for resources associated URLLC services may receive higher priority than CSI reporting for eMBB services. The UE may be configured to determine reliability parameters and/or latency parameters based on signaling received from the network or from determining changes to one or more configurations of the UE. In some cases, the priority ranking of the CSI report may be based at least in part on a slot set identifier.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel estimation for two-stage sidelink control using sidelink data channel demodulation reference signals (DMRS). A user equipment (UE) can transmit DMRS for the sidelink data channel. The UE may transmit the second stage of the sidelink control using antenna ports or a precoder used for the sidelink data channel. The receiving device may receive the DMRS, estimate the channel, and demodulate the second stage of the sidelink control based on the estimated channel. The receiving device may flexibly determine the DMRS to use for the estimation and demodulation.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a base station transmitting a modulation and coding scheme index corresponding to a modulation and coding scheme table to a user equipment (UE). The modulation and coding scheme index may be applied to encoding or decoding a transport block. The modulation and coding scheme may be associated with at least two modulation orders or a differential indication according to a modulation and coding scheme table. To determine which of the modulation orders for processing the transport block, the UE and the base station may use a prior modulation order associated with a prior transmission of the transport block. The UE may process the transport block by encoding or decoding the transport block based at least in part on the determined modulation order.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer storage media, for retransmission of sidelink transmissions using network coding with binned feedback. A transmitting device transmits a transport block and a request for a network coding (NC) encoding device to retransmit the transport block to a plurality of user equipment (UEs). The UEs decode the transport block and report an acknowledgment (ACK) or negative acknowledgment (NACK) on a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource associated with a bin for the UEs. The NC encoding device decodes the PSFCH resource for each bin to determine an ACK or NACK status for each bin, and determines whether to encode the transport block in a NC combination packet. The UEs receive the NC combination packet including an encoding of a subset of transport blocks. The receiving devices transmit an ACK or NACK on a PSFCH resource for a bin for each transport block.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify one or more user equipments (UEs) subscribed to receive broadcast transmissions. The base station may determine a first subset of the UEs is to receive broadcast transmissions via a direct link and a second subset of the UEs is to receive the packets from the broadcast transmission via a sidelink connection based on selection criteria. The base station may transmit an indication that the broadcast transmissions are to be received via either the direct link or sidelink connection to at least one of the first subset of UEs or the second subset of UEs. The base station may transmit the broadcast transmissions to the first subset of UEs via direct links, and the first subset of UEs may transmit the broadcast transmissions to one or more other UEs via sidelink connections.
