Abstract:
A method and system check a double patterning layout in abutting cells and switch the pattern in one of the cells if the edge patterns in each cell are in the same mask. The method includes receiving layout data having patterns in abutting cells, changing a designated mask in one cell if the edge patterns are in the same mask, adjusting cell edge spacings at a shared edge according to a minimum spacing rule and a G1-rule, and outputting a presentation of the layout data.
Abstract:
A method for forming a pattern on a substrate is described. The method includes providing a substrate, forming a photosensitive layer over the substrate, exposing the photosensitive layer to a first exposure energy through a first mask, exposing the photosensitive layer to a second exposure energy through a second mask, baking the photosensitive layer, and developing the exposed photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer includes a polymer that turns soluble to a developer solution, at least one photo-acid generator (PAG), and at least one photo-base generator (PBG). A portion of the layer exposed to the second exposure energy overlaps with a portion exposed to the first exposure energy.
Abstract:
A method of fabricating a semiconductor device includes forming a plurality of line element on a provided substrate. The plurality of line elements includes a first line element having a first region having a first width and a biased region having a second width. The second width different than the first width. Spacer elements are then formed abutting sidewalls of each of the plurality of line elements including the biased region where the spacer elements may be shifted. After forming the spacer elements, the plurality of line elements from the substrate are removed from the substrate. An underlying layer is etched using the spacer elements after removing the plurality of line elements.

Abstract:
A management system for digital broadcast rights and a method thereof, which applies to a digital video broadcasting system and utilizes the function of a multimedia home platform; when the multimedia data is intended to record or replay, the user's data will be analyzed to determine whether the user is allowed to use the multimedia data; further, encryption and decryption processes are used to monitor and control the record and replay processes of the multimedia data and protect the digital broadcast rights of the multimedia data lest it be unrestrictedly used or duplicated as one pleases.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for generating and inputting displacement signals, the apparatus being connected to a computer, are described. An acceleration sensor detects acceleration of an object and transforms the acceleration into electric signals. An analog/digital transducer is connected to the acceleration sensor for receiving the electric signals, and transforms the electric signals into digital signals. An acceleration/displacement calculating unit is connected to the analog/digital transducer for receiving the digital signals, and calculates and transforms the digital signals into corresponding displacement signals. A transmitting unit is connected to the acceleration/displacement calculating unit for receiving the displacement signals and transmitting the displacement signals to said computer.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a continuous-zoom imaging device of an interferometer. Reflected lights of a reference plane and a test plane interfere with each other to generate an interference pattern. A collimation device converts a parallel light of the interference pattern into a convergent light. An optical path adjustment means guides the light to a polarizing beam splitter. A continuous-zoom device adjusts the magnification ratio of the interference pattern on the imaging passageway and to output an object image, which is then imaged on a charge-coupled device. The present invention can improve the quality of the interference pattern without using any rotating diffuser, and thus has the characteristics of reduced number of components, lowered cost, and shrunk volume. Besides, the present invention can utilize a joint device to connect the continuous-zoom device and an attenuator so as to achieve automatic light adjustment and convenient operation.
Abstract:
A catalyst system useful for polymerizing olefins is disclosed. It comprises an activator and an organometallic complex. The complex includes a Group 3-10 transition or lanthanide metal and a 1,3-bis(arylimino)isoindoline or 1,3-bis(heteroarylimino)isoindoline ligand. Activities of the Group 8-10 catalyst systems rival or exceed those of late transition metal bis(imines). The resulting polyolefins typically have high molecular weights, broad molecular weight distributions, and a high degree of crystallinity, which makes them valuable for film applications.
Abstract:
A process for making an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is disclosed. The process is performed with a supported quinolinoxy-containing single-site catalyst in the presence of a non-alumoxane activator, but in the absence of an &agr;-olefin, an aromatic solvent, and hydrogen. The process significantly increases the catalyst activity and the UHMWPE produced has improved tensile and impact properties.
