摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for analog spatial multiplexing are disclosed. One apparatus includes a receiver, wherein the receiver includes a plurality of antennas operative to receive a plurality of wireless signals, a plurality of tunable time delays, and a plurality of frequency response equalizers, wherein a time delay of each of the tunable time delays is adjusted based on a feedback of measurements of one or more pilot tones of more than one output of the plurality of frequency response equalizers. The receiver further includes a plurality of frequency up-converters generating a plurality of frequency up-converted signals, a MIMO processor receiving the plurality of frequency up-converted signals, wherein the MIMO processor adjusts a gain and phase of the of the frequency up-converted signals based on the measurements of the pilot tones, and a plurality of frequency down-converters receiving and frequency down-converting output signals from the MIMO processor.

摘要: A communication system (20) includes a base station (22) and a number of peak-managed user equipment apparatuses (26) that simultaneously transmit peak-reduced FDMA communication signals (128) to the base station (22). The communication system (20) exclusively assigns payload subcarriers (44) to the apparatuses (26) and assigns a few noise-bearing subcarriers (48) for common simultaneous use by all apparatuses (26). Each user equipment apparatus (26) includes a peak reduction section (92) that distorts an otherwise undistorted modulated communication signal (86) into a distorted, peak-reduced communication signal (128) by generating and adding peak-reduction noise (131) to the undistorted signal (86). The peak-reduction noise (131) is primarily mapped onto the noise-bearing subcarriers (48) without conforming to an in-band noise constraint and may be mapped onto the assigned payload subcarriers (44) to the extent permitted by an in-band noise constraint. The peak-reduction noise (131) is blocked in unassigned payload subcarriers (46).

摘要: An example transmitter includes first and second circuit stages and interface circuits. The first circuit stage is configured to generate modulated signals each having a different carrier frequency from baseband signals. 摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, computer readable media, and/or apparatus related to encoding wireless communication preamble structures with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) that is performed on both a common part, as well as, station specific parts of a signaling field. The signaling field generated by this mechanism may be relatively shorter, resulting in less preamble overhead, than if a separate CRC was to be provided for each of the station specific parts, as well as the common part of the signaling field. In additional embodiments, tail bits may be provided for a combination of the common part of the signaling field and each station specific part of the signaling field. Compared to providing tail bits separately for the common part and each of the station specific parts, removing the tail bits from the common part may result in relatively less overhead of the preamble structure.

摘要: Various examples are provided for OOB interference and/or PAPR reduction in OFDM systems. In one example, a method includes generating a suppressing signal using channel state information (CSI) of a communication channel, where the length of the suppressing signal equals that of the OFDM symbol including a cyclic prefix (CP) and data portion; combining the OFDM symbol and the suppressing signal to generate a transmission signal, where the length of the suppressing signal is aligned with the length of the OFDM symbol; and communicating the transmission signal via the communication channel, which reduces and substantially aligns the length of the suppressing signal with a length of the CP at a receiving device. The CP and suppressing signal can be removed from the transmitted signal at the receiver using a CP removal matrix. In another example, a transmitting device includes OFDM encoding, signal suppression, combining circuitry to generate the transmission signal.
