摘要: A security paper which contains a security device e.g. a strip, thread or planchette having at least two machine verifiable security features thereon, one of which is a magnetic material, which may be magnetically coded or printed in a predetermined pattern on the device, and a second of which is a luminescent material, an X-ray absorbent or a metal. The provision of several features on one device provides a large increase in document security.

摘要: A transaction accounting system for the automated royalty accounting of copyright-coded paper documents. The system includes a document copier, a copier access control system which includes a transaction data terminal for input of transaction information such as the date of the transaction, coded copyright information such as contained in the standard serial numbering or standard book numbering systems, user identification and number of copies to be produced. The access control system includes enabling circuits to access the copier upon completion of the data input and one or more data recorders and/or data transmitters to permit use of telephone line transmission of the transaction data and/or other transmitting facilities to communicate with a royalty accounting system. The documents are copyright coded with an optically transparent, electrically conductive coating. The system includes a decoder with its output connected to the transaction data terminal to input the document data. A keyboard is also furnished for input of other data. The access control system is provided with a delete sequence to delete a previously recorded transaction; an override sequence operation to access to the copiers with incomplete or no transaction data; a tranmit sequence operation for data transmission to a remote computer and the like; and an incorrect mode selection to correct for mistakes in input information. The input terminal is also provided with a self-prompting display to facilitate input of transaction data in the proper sequence.

摘要: An authentication method for standardized objects, such as in particular monetary articles, in which an object to be authenticated is introduced into the field located between an emitter and a receiver delivering at least an alternative physical quantity, whose quantitative alteration produced by the presence of said object in said field is measured, the result being compared with a reference value pre-stored in a memory and distinctive of the object to authenticate, whereby, within a tolerance approximation, an authentication criterion is deducted, method characterized by the fact that said alteration is measured at different frequencies, that corresponding alterations are successively measured and then simultaneously compared with said respective reference quantities.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for preparing an anti-counterfeiting modal fiber, including: mixing a pulp stock solution with a cellulose catalyst, alkalizing, aging, sulfonating, and then dissolving the pulp stock solution in an alkaline solution to obtain a treatment solution; mixing the treatment solution with multiple amino acid-metal chelates, filtering, defoaming and ripening to obtain a spinning stock solution; and mixing the spinning stock solution with a spinning bath additive, and wet spinning, followed by drafting, defoaming, desulfurizing, water washing, and other post-treatments, to obtain an anti-counterfeiting modal fiber, wherein the amino acid metal-chelates account for 0.5%-1.5% by weight of the spinning stock solution. Amino acid-metal chelates are used to anti-counterfeit and encrypt the modal fibers, and the anti-counterfeiting and encrypting is involved in the spinning stock solution of modal fibers. The fiber source can be tracked and identified by detecting the species of metal elements and amino acids.

摘要: A paper-sheet-thickness detecting sensor of the present invention includes: an oscillator that outputs high-frequency signals with frequencies corresponding to positions in a horizontal direction that is orthogonal to a direction in which a paper sheet is transported; a signal electrode to which the high-frequency signals output by the oscillator are applied; a plurality of detection electrodes that face the signal electrode across a transportation path for the paper sheet and that individually detect detection signals that correspond to the positions; a plurality of resonance circuits that each have one end connected to one end of each of the plurality of detection electrodes and that have resonance frequencies equal to the frequencies allocated to the positions; and a broadband amplifier to which another end of each of the plurality of resonance circuits is connected and that outputs outputs of the plurality of resonance circuits as one piece of sensor output information.
