    摘要: Method to authenticate a substrate based on unique microstructure inherent to a region of interest of a substrate surface of the substrate, comprising the steps: (a) emitting photons from a light source onto the region of interest; (b) emitting ultrasound waves from a ultrasound source onto the region of interest; (c) capturing at least one image of the region of interest in one or both of the following two ways: (i) capturing a light image in the presence of ultrasound to obtain at least one captured image of the region of interest, or (ii) capturing an ultrasound echo image in the presence of IR or near IR light to obtain at least one captured image of the region of interest; and (d) comparing the at least one captured image with at least one reference in order to determine authenticity of the substrate.

    摘要: In some implementations, a system is capable of generating identifications that include distinctive line patterns corresponding to different portions of secure customer information. Data indicating an input image, and a dithering matrix representing a two-dimensional array of pixel values is obtained. Pixel values of pixels included in the input image are transformed using the dithering matrix. For each pixel within the input image, the transformation includes identifying a particular pixel value within the dithering matrix that represents a particular pixel within the input image, and adjusting an intensity value of the particular pixel based on attributes of the dithering matrix. A transformed image is generated based on the transformation and then provided for output.

    摘要: Provided is a value bill identifying method, which includes: step 1, collecting, by a color collection device including multiple color sensors, color data of a to-be-detected value bill and preprocessing the collected color data; step 2, extracting a feature from the preprocessed color data; step 3, matching the extracted feature with feature template sets corresponding to each type of value bills, to obtain matching scores, and regarding a feature template with the highest score as a matched template of the color data; and step 4, determining a type of the value bill based on a matching result.
