摘要: An inspection system is configured to inspect a valuable object including an RF tag configured to record information. The inspection system includes an RF reading device, a weight measuring device, a management control device, and a display device. The RF reading device is configured to read information of valuable objects from RF tags of the valuable objects placed. The weight measuring device is configured to measure weights of the valuable objects. The management control device is configured to determine a calculated total weight of the valuable objects on the platform based on standard weights of the valuable objects obtained from the information read by the RF reading device and compare the calculated total weight with an actual total weight of the valuable objects measured by the weight measuring device. The display device is configured to perform a display reflecting a result of a comparison by the management control device.

摘要: An inspection system inspects gaming chips each having a color or a display indicating a value on an outer surface in a state where the gaming chips are stored in a case in which a maximum of the number of gaming chips to be stored is limited, and a radio tag storing gaming chip information is embedded in each of the gaming chips. The gaming chips are stored in the case capable of containing a row of gaming chips stacked in a thickness direction, and the inspection system includes a reading device that reads the radio tag of the gaming chip in the case and acquires gaming chip information of the gaming chip and a determining unit that compares the gaming chip information with a maximum of the number of gaming chips storable in the case and determines an abnormality of the gaming chip in the case when the number of gaming chips obtained from the gaming chip information is different from a maximum of the number of storable gaming chips.

An accelerating device is provided which is configured to accelerate a coin conveyed along the conveying section in dependence on recognition by the testing device in such a manner that the coin is conveyed from the conveying section into a coin collecting device, wherein the accelerating device is configured, in dependence on the coin type of the coin recognized by the testing device, to act upon the coin for acceleration.

摘要: A method and apparatus for using a magnetic element to detect the presence of foreign materials, or anomalies, embedded in an object including placing magnetic field viewing film over an object such as a coin and passing the magnetic element over the object in prescribed patterns. The object to be tested for an anomaly may be covered or encased in magnetic paper. The presence of a foreign material in the object will be detected by the film when a magnetic element passes by the anomaly. An anomaly, such as of tungsten hidden in a gold coin or nugget, is detected by the film due to the disruption of the magnetic field of the anomaly. The film will present a dark spot adjacent to the location of the hidden anomaly.

摘要: Systems and associated methods for coin discrimination are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method for discriminating coins includes obtaining an electromagnetic sensor signal of a coin, generating a contour signal by digitizing the sensor signal, identifying an active interval in the contour signal by eliminating the segments of the contour signal which are close to zero, and detecting the coin approach, pivot and departure points (coin features) from the contour signal in the active interval. The coin features can be compared to known values for different coins to discriminate the coin.
