摘要: A resilient coin sorting pad for imparting motion to a plurality of coins is provided, the resilient coin sorting pad designed to be coupled to a rotatable disc of a coin sorter, the resilient coin sorting pad being generally circular and having an outer periphery edge. The resilient coin sorting pad comprises a lower foam layer having a top surface, an upper skin layer coupled to the top surface of the foam layer, and a layer of mesh material. According to some embodiments, the upper skin layer comprises at least one layer of nitrile rubber and the layer of mesh material is nylon fiber mesh. According to some embodiments, the upper skin layer comprises at least two layers of nitrile rubber and the layer of mesh material is positioned between the at least two layers of nitrile rubber.

摘要: According to some embodiments, a coin processing system for processing a plurality of coins, comprises a rotatable disc having a resilient pad coupled thereto for imparting motion to the plurality of coins, the resilient pad being generally circular and having an outer periphery edge, a center, and an upper surface. The system further comprises a stationary sorting head having a lower surface generally parallel to and spaced slightly away from the resilient pad, the lower surface forming a coin path for directing the movement of each of the coins past a coin re-gauging area. The re-gauging area comprises a gauging block, a lower surface, and an elevated surface. The rotation of the pad drives radial outward edges of the coins into contact with the gauging block. The elevated surface is positioned radially inward of a portion of the lower surface and the gauging block is positioned radially outward of the portion of the lower surface. When the coins contact the gauging block the coins are pressed by the pad upward toward the sorting head such that the radially inner edges of the coins are pressed into the elevated surface and a portion of the coins contacts a portion of the lower surface whereby the coins contact the gauging block in a radial outward downward tilted manner. The gauging block has a gauging wall having an upstream end and a downstream end, the downstream end of the gauging wall being positioned radially closer to the center of the pad than the upstream end of the gauging wall. The rotation of the pad drives the coins downstream along a gauging wall of the gauging block whereby the outer edges of the coins becomes radially aligned and wherein the coins are driven along the gauging wall in a radial outward downward tilted manner with the radially inward, lower edges of the coins being above the upper surface of the pad.

摘要: A coin acceptor includes main body having coin dispenser mounted therein, coin tubes mounted in the main body and disposed at the bottom side of the coin dispenser, and sensing device including multiple optical sensor modules respectively aimed at the coin tubes. The distance between each optical sensor module and the coins in the respective coin tube is calculated by: measuring the time taken for the reflected light to travel from the coins in the respective coin tube to the proximity sensor of the respective optical sensor module and then multiplying the time thus measured by the speed of light. The number of coins in each coin tube is calculated by: deducting the distance between the respective optical sensor module and the coins in the respective coin tube from the pre-measured depth of the empty coin tube, and then dividing the reminder thus obtained by the thickness of single coin.

An accelerating device is provided which is configured to accelerate a coin conveyed along the conveying section in dependence on recognition by the testing device in such a manner that the coin is conveyed from the conveying section into a coin collecting device, wherein the accelerating device is configured, in dependence on the coin type of the coin recognized by the testing device, to act upon the coin for acceleration.

摘要: A coin deposit and summation device having a coin denomination identification mechanism and a coin denomination summation mechanism. The device determines different mechanical movement paths according to different diameters of different coin denominations, with each mechanical movement path resulting in a mechanical trigger corresponding to the identified coin denomination; each resulting mechanical trigger drives a mechanical counter wheel to perform denomination summation once according to the identified coin denomination. The device can be designed to achieve denomination identification and summation of 0.5, 0.25 and 0.2 dollar coins.
