The at least one adjustable wall may be at least partially rotatable to define different inner diameters. Chip sorting devices may include a chip hopper having a relief mechanism for clearing chips that become jammed between a chip chamber and a base plate of the chip hopper. Methods of sorting chips may include actuating the relief mechanism to increase a space between a top plate of the relief mechanism and the chip chamber. Methods of setting up a chip sorting device may include adjusting an inner lateral dimension of the at least one chip collection tube.

    摘要: An apparatus for receiving and sorting disks includes a wheel having at least one well for receiving a disk, a motor coupled to the wheel, a collecting device positioned relative to the wheel, a disk sensor, an ejector, and a controller. The collecting device has at least a first collector and a second collector configured for receiving disks. The disk sensor is configured to detect a value of a parameter of a disk received in the well and generate a parameter value signal. The ejector is coupled to the wheel proximate the well and configured to eject a disk from the well in a plane parallel to a bottom surface of the wheel in response to an eject signal. The controller is operably coupled with the disk sensor and the ejector.

    摘要: Implementations described and claimed herein involve systems and methods for facilitating coin hopper maintenance. In one implementation, a top plate is received in a bucket assembly of the coin hopper at a proximal end. The top plate seals one or more coins in an interior of the bucket assembly. The coin hopper is positioned in an inverted orientation by meeting a target surface with the top plate. The inverted orientation positions the bucket assembly at a distal end near the target surface and a base assembly at the proximal end. A hopper dispenser is disengaged from the base assembly of the coin hopper.

    摘要: Provided is a coinage identification device (6), comprising: a coinage sorting device (6A), which is configured to further comprise a first coinage guidance unit (9), and a second coinage guidance unit (10) which moves between a narrowing location which is close to the first coinage guidance unit (9) and a widening location which is separated from the first coinage guidance unit (9), and to cause a plurality of coins to fall in batches of a defined number from between the first coinage guidance unit (9) and the second coinage guidance unit (10); and a coinage intake (28a) which is disposed below the first coinage guidance unit (9) and the second coinage guidance unit (10), and which accepts the coins which fall from between the first coinage guidance unit (9) and the second coinage guidance unit (10). When a coin is jammed between the first coinage guidance unit (9) and the second coinage guidance unit (10), the coinage sorting device (6A) moves the second coinage guidance unit (10) from the narrowing location to the widening location, thereby widening the space between the first coinage guidance unit (9) and the second coinage guidance unit (10) and causing the jammed coin to fall. The coinage identification device further comprises a shutter unit (31) which covers the coinage intake (28a) when the second coinage guidance unit (10) is positioned in the widening location.
