摘要： A corrugated fiberboard printing device includes a protection device which regulates approaching of a corrugated fiberboard within a predetermined distance against an inkjet head, and a controller. The protection device includes multiple regulation devices which are juxtaposed in a width direction of the corrugated fiberboard, and a movement mechanism which moves each of the multiple regulation devices in the width direction. The controller includes a specific column setting unit which is set to classify a specific column, in which a printing quality is less influenced even when the specific column is regulated by the regulation device, with respect to the corrugated fiberboard in a sheet width direction based on order information, and a movement mechanism control unit which controls the operation of the movement mechanism and moves each of the regulation devices so as to regulate the corrugated fiberboard in the specific column.

摘要： A circulating feeding printer combining screen printing and digital ink jetting, includes a rack. The rack includes an upper rack layer and a lower rack layer, and the two layers are respectively provided with a transmission platen capable of moving relative to the rack. Each transmission platen is provided with a movable printing platen bearing a print medium capable of sliding relative to the transmission platen, a locking device locking the movable printing platen, and the transmission platen is arranged between them. The platen transfer devices capable of transferring the movable printing platen onto the transmission platen at the different layer are disposed on the rack, separately located at two sides of the transmission platens. The rack is further provided with a screen printer and an inkjet printer used for printing separately.

摘要： A method of making a relief image printing element from a photosensitive printing blank is provided. A photosensitive printing blank with a laser ablatable layer disposed on at least one photocurable layer is ablated with a laser to create an in situ mask. The printing blank is then exposed to at least one source of actinic radiation through the in situ mask to selectively cross link and cure portions of the photo curable layer. Diffusion of oxygen into the at least one photocurable layer is limited during the exposing step and preferably at least one of the type, power and incident angle of illumination of the at least one source of actinic radiation is altered during the exposure step. The resulting relief image comprises dots and a dot shape that provide optimal print performance on various substrates, including corrugated board.

摘要： A method includes creating a stream of uniquely-addressed mail pieces on a web offset press by printing on sections of a web, separating the sections of the web, and printing unique address information on each section of the press-printed material. The unique address is printed by a variable printer according to a mail file of intended recipients. The stream of uniquely-addressed mail pieces is conveyed in a shingled formation. An on-press conversion of the stream of uniquely-addressed mail pieces into a plurality of batches of stacked mail pieces is performed, each batch containing only mail pieces belonging to a common mail delivery group. The on-press conversion includes controlling via the controller the creation of batch separation points among the mail pieces according to the mail file, conveying the stream of mail pieces in the shingled formation into a stacking device, and stacking the mail pieces with the stacking device.

The digital printing device includes a position sensor which measures the substrate web for regulating a print position for the dynamic printing. The digital printing device is provided with a signal from a signal source of the reel-fed printing press. A position sensor control generates a synchronization signal and provides the synchronization signal to a digital printing head control. A speed signal transformer generates a feed signal and provides the feed signal to the digital printing head control. The digital printing head control activates the digital printing head dependent on the synchronization signal and the feed signal.
