Abstract: Embodiments include methods for managing the processing of data and performing computing tasks of a wireless device using computing resources of a remote network computing device. A wireless device and a network computing device may dynamically track factors affecting a round-trip latency of a computing task. The wireless device and the network computing device may generate and send metadata including the factors and a latency budget for the computing task. The wireless device and the network computing device may adjust a processing time for processing data related to the computing task based the received metadata and the latency budget.

Abstract: User equipment (UE) may benefit from power management techniques, for example, in the context of cellular vehicle-to-everything (CV2X) communication. In various aspects of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE configured to determine whether a first subframe includes at least one sub-channel carrying information intended for the UE, receive the information via at least one receive (Rx) chain associated with the at least one sub-channel when the information intended for the UE is carried on the at least one sub-channel included in the first subframe, and deactivate the at least one Rx chain associated with the at least one sub-channel based on whether the information intended for the UE is absent from the at least one sub-channel included in the first subframe.

Abstract: A low-power state current/power consumption for each volatile memory device in a plurality of volatile memory devices is obtained. Data is copied from a first set of the volatile memory devices to a second set of the volatile memory devices, where the second set of volatile memory devices has a lower current/power consumption than the first set of volatile memory devices. Additionally, a current/power consumption may be obtained for each memory bank within each of the plurality of volatile memory devices. Data is then copied from a first set of memory banks to a second set of memory banks within the same memory device in the second set of memory devices, where the second set of memory banks has lower current/power consumption than the first set of memory banks. The first set of volatile memory devices and/or first set of memory banks are then placed into a power-down state.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for performance management are provided. The apparatus may be an electronic device. The electronic device detects a change of form factor mode or ambient wind using a detection circuit or at least one sensor. The change of form factor mode may include at least one of folding the electronic device, unfolding the electronic device, rolling the electronic device, changing a flexible shape of the electronic device, or equipping a cover on the electronic device. A set of thermal control parameters may be determined based on the detected change. The set of thermal control parameters may be retrieved from a lookup table or calculated using a mathematical model. The electronic device adjusts the performance based on the set of thermal control parameters.
