    Abstract: Couplers for attaching an accessory to an excavator arm of an excavator. Couplers having a first side for attaching the coupler to the excavator arm and a second side onto which the accessory will be coupled. The coupler includes a latch for selectively securing and releasing an attachment pin of the accessory in a jaw, groove, hook or slot in the second side of the coupler. The coupler is fully controllable from within the cab of the excavator and it allows improved security in the securement of the accessory to the coupler, i.e. preventing accidental decouplings, but while still allowing intentional decoupling operations to be carried out without undue burden.

    Abstract: A reduced size multiplexer and, in particular, a reduced size SONET multiplexer module is provided for use in a reduced size enclosure. The SONET multiplexer module has electrical and optical connectors on its faceplate to provide ease in access without having to remove the SONET multiplexer from the enclosure. The SONET multiplexer circuit is configured in a standard Type 400 mechanics circuit board arrangement. The SONET multiplexer module therefore can be inserted into an enclosure in a direction opposite to that in which the coaxial connector projects from the face plate, so that the coaxial connector remains freely accessible outside of the enclosure when the SONET multiplexer module is fully loaded into the enclosure. Coaxial cables and optical fibers can thus be easily coupled to the coaxial and optical connectors, respectively, when the SONET multiplexer circuit is fully loaded into the enclosure.

    Abstract: A device and method for dispensing and measuring a plurality of strands from a single spool of stranded material is disclosed. The device is comprised of a mobile portion on which a plurality of pulleys is mounted. The mobile portion includes a frame mounted on an axle to which tires are attached so that the mobile portion may be wheeled about readily. A stationary portion includes a plurality of pulleys and a supply spool of wire. Stranded material from the supply spool is routed back and forth between the mobile portion and the stationary portion, over the pulleys attached to each, until the number of strands between the mobile portion and the stationary portion corresponds with the desired number. Next the mobile portion is displaced away from the stationary portion a distance equal to the length of strands desired. A distance measurement device is mounted on the mobile portion to aid the user in ascertaining the distance that the mobile portion has moved, thereby indicating the wire length. Another embodiment of the invention includes open-faced pulleys that facilitate more rapid routing of the wires over the pulleys during use thereof.

    Abstract: A method of playing a multi-line poker game of cards on a computer-based video gaming device is disclosed. The poker game has a game hand line and a plurality of bonus lines that are combined to create a game array. The game array itself has a plurality of paylines used in determining winnings for the play of the game. The method of playing the multi-line poker comprises determining a set of game parameters from a set of input signals from a player. Next a plurality of cards are randomly dealt from a deck of cards to fill the game hand line. The player selects cards from the within the game hand that are to be held and the cards that are to be discarded. Cards from the deck of cards are randomly dealt to replace all of the cards discarded from within the game hand. Each card now within the game hand is duplicated and randomly placed within the plurality of bonus lines until all of the locations within the game array are filled with cards. Winning combinations of poker hands are determined for the paylines contained in the game array. An award amount is determined for all winning combinations found within paylines based upon the winning combination, the identity of the payline, and the amount of any wager placed on the payline containing the winning combination.
