Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a second UE or a network node, a configuration for a resource pool, wherein the resource pool is associated with a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource comprising more than two symbols. The first UE may receive, from the second UE, a sidelink transmission. The first UE may transmit, to the second UE and based at least in part on the sidelink transmission, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) feedback based at least in part on the PSFCH resource comprising more than two symbols. Abstract: The aspects described herein allow control of an energy harvesting operation at an apparatus in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode. The apparatus in the DRX mode may reduce its power consumption and may immediately begin harvesting energy during an active time of a DRX cycle. The apparatus includes a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The at least one processor is configured to enter a DRX mode and receive a control signal during an active time of the DRX mode. The control signal enables an energy harvesting operation at the apparatus. The at least one processor is further configured to perform the energy harvesting operation in response to the control signal, wherein the energy harvesting operation is performed based on at least one of a reported capability, a preconfigured energy harvesting setting, control information in the control signal, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a device such as a user equipment (UE), a base station, or both, to perform a channel noise and interference estimation based on a set of null resources in a data channel. The device may identify a first configuration for a set of demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) in a first set of time periods of a data channel and a second configuration for a set of null resources in a second set of time periods of the data channel. The second set of time periods may be nonoverlapping with the first set of time periods. The device may perform a channel estimation procedure on the data channel based on the null resources and the DMRS resources. The device may process data received via resources of the data channel based on the channel estimation procedure.
