Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information that schedules a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communication associated with a common search space (CSS) in a sub-band full duplex (SBFD) set of symbols. The UE may receive an indication of whether the SBFD set of symbols is to be treated as a non-SBFD set of symbols. The UE may perform one of receiving the PDCCH communication or refraining from receiving the PDCCH communication based on whether the SBFD set of symbols is to be treated as the non-SBFD set of symbols. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may transmit a set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) to a user equipment (UE). The set of SSBs may indicate both a first set of random access occasions and a second set of random access occasions that may be different than the first set of random access occasions. The second set of random access occasions may be associated with full-duplex capable wireless devices (e.g., UEs). As such, the network entity may monitor both the first set of random access occasions and the second set of random access occasions. Based on the monitoring, the network entity may receive a random access preamble from a UE during a random access occasion. The UE may transmit the random access preamble during the random access occasion based on the UE being a full-duplex capable wireless device.

A user equipment (UE) may inform a base station of multiple transmission-antenna switching capabilities supported by the UE. The supported transmission-antenna switching capabilities may include a first transmission-antenna switching capability and a second transmission-antenna switching capability. The UE may receive a message that triggers the UE to switch from using a first configuration associated with the first transmission-antenna switching capability to using a second configuration associated with the second transmission-antenna switching capability. The UE may perform a sounding procedure using the second configuration associated with the second transmission-antenna switching capability based on receiving the message.

In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a message that indicates a first quantity of calculations that the UE is capable of performing within a same time period. The first quantity of calculations may include at least one calculation that is based on one or more cross-link interference (CLI) measurements at the UE. A first quantity of reports supported by the UE may be based on the first quantity of calculations. The CLI measurements may correspond to interference at the UE based on communications by at least a second UE. The UE may transmit a second quantity of one or more reports based on the CLI measurements. The second quantity of reports may be less than or equal to the first quantity of reports based on the message.

In some examples, the UE may transmit a message including an indication of a level of correlation between a set of channel metrics associated with the plurality of downlink messages. In some examples, the UE may receive, from the base station, control signaling configuring at least a first resource for reporting channel state information having a first level of compression and a second resource for reporting channel state information having a second level of compression. The UE may communicate with the base station based on the control signaling, the indication, or a combination thereof. In some examples, the UE may cancel a report message or transmit a report message indicating the set of channel metrics in accordance with a level of compression.

The UE may receive at least one of a radio resource control communication or a downlink control information communication indicating at least one of the one or more SRS resources that are to be used for an uplink transmission repetition. The UE may transmit the uplink transmission repetition in one of: only the FD set of symbols, only the non-FD set of symbols, or both the FD set of symbols and the non-FD set of symbols. Generally, the techniques described herein may enable joint reporting of channel state information (CSI) and cross-link interference (CLI). For example, a network entity may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a joint configuration indicative of a first set of resources associated with generation of one or more CSI metrics and a second set of resources associated with generation of one or more CLI metrics. As such, the UE may generate the one or more CSI metrics and one or more CLI metrics in accordance with the joint configuration and transmit a joint report indicative of the one or more CSI metrics and the one or more CLI metrics.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message that indicates a first resource for a first channel state information (CSI) reference signal (CSI-RS) and a second resource for a second CSI-RS, where the first resource may be associated with first CSI for half-duplex operations and the second resource may be associated with second CSI for full-duplex operations. The UE may receive at least one of the first CSI-RS or the second CSI-RS and measure at least one of the first CSI-RS or the second CSI-RS to obtain first CSI for the half-duplex operations and second CSI for the full-duplex operations. In response to obtaining the first CSI and the second CSI, the UE may transmit at least one measurement report that includes the first CSI and the second CSI.
