Abstract:
Disclosed are a terminal allowing work for attaching the cap to the insertion part to eliminate, and to provide in a short time the cap to the insertion part, and a method of forming the cap of the terminal. In a terminal, at a tip end of a tubular insertion part a resin made cap is provided, the insertion part includes an annular portion with narrower diameter than that the insertion part at a tip end thereof, the cap is disposed at the insertion part by a dipping work covering the annular portion in an inner side away from a tip end of the insertion part past the annular portion.
Abstract:
A waterproof wire connector comprising a push in wire connector having a wire chamber therein for receiving and forming electrical engagement with an electrical wire axially inserted therein with the wire connector having a wire port with a self healing member extending across the entry to the wire port to prevent moisture from entering the wire connector whereby pushing the wire into the wire connector forces the end of an electrical wire to pierce the self healing member.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method of an insulation cap, includes the steps of: supplying an elongated tube from a tube supplying unit to a tube placing table; moving a tube press-fastening portion and a welding body portion towards the tube placing table so as to press-fasten a press-fastening position of the tube placed on the tube placing table and to press-contact a press-contacting position of the tube placed on the tube placing table; performing a welding process with respect to the press-contacting position of the tube; moving the tube placing table during the welding process to feed the tube in a tube feeding direction by a specified amount; blanking the tube subjected to the welding process after feeding the tube to form the insulation cap; and discharging the formed insulation cap from a blanking position.
Abstract:
An electric terminal 1 comprising a terminal body 2 and a box-shaped hood 3 enclosing at least partially the terminal body 2, said hood 3 being bent from a sheet-metal part into the box-shaped design wherein the sheet-metal part has a first connecting end 20 and a second connecting end 21 both being bent towards each other, wherein said connecting ends 20, 21 of the sheet-metal part are form-fittingly connected to each other.
Abstract:
An epidermal friendly twist-on wire connector and a method of applying an epidermal twist-on wire connector having a resilient gripping region including a set of low profile, resilient ribs that are circumferentially spaced so that a users thumb and fingers can compressively and sequentially engage and compress at least a portion of a plurality of ribs as well as the valley between the ribs during application of a wire securement torque to the twist-on wire connector while at the same time inhibiting or preventing epidermal trauma in a users thumb and fingers.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a wiring harness including a sealing member having higher airtightness, the method including a coat formation step of forming a coat of a composition solution by providing the composition solution that contains at least a photo polymerization initiator, a thermal radical polymerization initiator, and a polymerizable compound to an exposed bunched portion and a coated bunched portion that is adjacent to the exposed bunched portion of the bunch of electric wires, and a curing step of irradiating the coat formed on the exposed bunched portion and the adjacent coated bunched portion with light to photocure the coat and to thermally cure the coat by heat of the photocure and heat of collected light.
Abstract:
A wire connector with two spring plate parts comprises a box, a spring plate, a fixing base, and a conductive plate. The spring plate is integrally formed and fixed inside the box. The spring plate has first plate parts on its first extension part and second plate parts on its second extension part. The exposed end of a wire is inserted via the holes of the fixing base and held by the first plate parts and the second plate parts. The exposed end of the wire is thus in electrical contact with the conductive plate on the bottom part.
Abstract:
An intelligent wire connector carrying a microprocessor for transmitting information and/or sensing conditions proximate the wire connector wherein information from the microprocessor may be transmitted to a remote location in either a wireless mode or indirectly through an electrical wire, which is secured in the wire connector.
Abstract:
A method of waterproofing a terminal that includes a stopper inserted in one opening of a heat shrinkable tube. The heat shrinkable tube is heat-shrunk in this state to form a cap having a end closure. A fluid thermosetting waterproofing agent is injected into the cap from a second opening. A thermal splice, which is formed from welded strands stripped from a plurality of wire terminals, is inserted and immersed in the thermosetting waterproofing agent. Then, the entire cap is heated and heat-shrunk at a predetermined temperature and the thermosetting waterproofing agent is heat-hardened.
Abstract:
A decoder system and a direct bury splice kit for in situ encapsulation of an electrical wire and wire connector wherein the encapsulation minimizes separating forces between the joined wires in the wire connector.
