摘要: An annular barrier system for expanding an annular barrier in an annulus between a well tubular structure and an inside wall of a borehole downhole includes an annular barrier having a tubular part for mounting as part of the well tubular structure, the annular barrier further comprising an expandable sleeve surrounding the tubular part, at least one end of the expandable sleeve being fastened in a fastener of a connection part in the tubular part. The annular barrier system also comprises a tool for expanding the expandable sleeve by letting a pressurized fluid through a passage in the tubular part into a space between the expandable sleeve and the tubular part.

摘要: A method for forming a lateral junction in an open hole section of a wellbore includes lowering a tubular member through a cased section of the wellbore. Thereafter, the tubular member is expanded in an open hole section of the wellbore, thereby anchoring the tubular member in the wellbore in a manner that leaves an open hole section of the wellbore between the expanded, tubular member and the cased section. Thereafter, a window is formed in a sidewall of the tubular member, and a lateral wellbore is drilled through the window.

摘要: An expandable liner hanger system for forging a pressure seal and hanging of the liner weight against outer casing string in a wellbore that includes an outer casing string, and an inner casing string positioned within the outer casing string and having an inner diameter. The system also includes an elongate inner string tool selectively insertable into the inner casing string and having a torque locking sleeve that removably couples with the inner casing string. Also included in the expandable liner hanger system is an expansion cone slidable along the inner string tool and having a diameter greater than the inner diameter of the inner casing string so that when the cone is urged into the inner casing string, the larger diameter cone deforms the inner casing string radially outward into engagement with the outer casing string. The system also includes a downhole hydraulic force intensifier.

摘要: Methods and apparatus include an expandable packer having a tubing expanded to create a seal in an annulus surrounding the tubing. The tubing includes a non-uniform outer surface configured to cause formation of undulations in a diameter of the tubing upon expansion of the tubing. A plurality of expandable packers may be connected to a tubular string to isolate multiple zones in a wellbore. A production tubular equipped with multiple expandable packers may be installed in the tubular string. The expandable packers may also include non-uniform outer surfaces configured to form undulations upon expansion. The combination of tubular string and production tubular may be used in an enhanced oil recovery application such as injecting steam into a formation to enhance production.

Furthermore, the present invention relates to an annular barrier, to a downhole completion system and to a sealing method.

摘要: A method for transporting a hydrocarbon fluid, such as crude oil and/or natural gas, comprises: drilling a chain of double ended U-shaped boreholes into the earth crust, such that at least one pair of the boreholes has an adjacent pair of upper ends at or near the earth surface; lining each of the boreholes with an at least partly expanded impermeable liner comprising an expandable tubular, which is circumferentially expanded after insertion into the borehole; interconnecting each pair of adjacent upper ends of the chain of lined U-shaped boreholes by a connection conduit; and transporting the hydrocarbon fluid through a transportation pipeline with one or more W-shaped sections provided by the chain of lined U-shaped boreholes and the connection conduit.
