    摘要: Igniter assemblies for use with setting tools are disclosed. The igniter assemblies have an electronic heating element disposed adjacent to an energetic material within a setting tool. In some embodiments, the electronic heating element is a resistor or a PCB mounted resistor. Electrical connections are attached to the heating element to provide electrical current to activate the heating element. In some instances, the electrical heating element is disposed onto an insulator cap that is coupled to a pressure block attached to the setting tool, and in some instances the electronic heating element is attached to a non-explosive portion and the energetic material is disposed within an explosive portion. When the non-explosive portion and the explosive portion are assembled, the electronic heating element is adjacent to the energetic material. Other assemblies are described.

    摘要: A laser tool system, which includes an optical fiber having an input end and an output end and a laser tool body, is described. The output end of the optical fiber may be optically connected to a laser source. The laser tool body may include a laser head optically connected to the laser output end, an activating chamber connected to the laser head, a heat transfer agent, an exit port, a nozzle connected to the exit port, and a fluid conduit. The fluid conduit may deliver a fluid into contact with the heat transfer agent. Methods for heating an aqueous fluid and heating a fluid in a reservoir are also described. The methods may include irradiating a heat transfer agent to provide an irradiated heat transfer agent, providing a fluid, and contacting the irradiated heat transfer agent with the fluid, thereby heating the fluid and forming a heated fluid mixture.

    摘要: A configurable universal wellbore reactor system designed for localized heat, pressure, and reaction control, to facilitate desired reactor conditions to transform feedstocks to recoverable products via diluent- based processes and/or reactions. The present system provides for a universal wellbore reactor for the diluent transformation of a diverse range of feedstocks, such as hydrocarbon waste, municipal waste, industrial waste, and/or mineral rich resources to recoverable product(s). Heat and temperature within the wellbore reactor are controlled by configuring various reactor components to govern the direction and magnitude of internal and external heat transfer within. Together with skin frequency heat transfer of ferromagnetic reactor piping at predetermined locations, the required temperature(s) and pressure(s) for the desired targeted reactions and/ or transformation reactions are achieved. The universal wellbore reactor system comprises one or more wellbore reactors with configurable features to improve reactor dynamics, reaction mechanisms and/or quality of the recoverable product, to facilitate a wide range of transformation reactions ranging from near ambient, to beyond the critical point of the diluent.
