Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a mask includes forming a first hole in a base material using a laser, the first hole penetrating through the base material from a first surface to a second surface different than the first surface, and expanding the first hole using an etchant to form a second hole.
Abstract:
An etchant composition including 0.5 wt % to 20 wt % of a persulfate, 0.01 wt % to 1 wt % of a fluorine compound, 1 wt % to 10 wt % of an inorganic acid, 0.01 wt % to 2 wt % of an azole-based compound, 0.1 wt % to 5 wt % of a chlorine compound, 0.05 wt % to 3 wt % of a copper salt, 0.01 wt % to 5 wt % of an antioxidant or a salt thereof, based on a total weight of the etchant composition, and water in an amount sufficient for the total weight of the etchant composition to be equal to 100 wt % is disclosed. The etchant composition is suitable for use in forming a metal wiring by etching a metal layer including copper or in fabricating a thin film transistor substrate for a display apparatus.
Abstract:
A mask assembly includes a mask frame in which a first opening is defined, the mask frame including a front surface through which the first opening extends, and a deposition mask which is attached to the front surface of the mask frame and through which a plurality of second openings is defined. The mask frame includes an in which the front surface extends along a direction of gravity, the deposition mask includes an initial mask which is attached to the front surface of the mask frame in the thereof and through which the plurality of second openings is defined, and the of the mask frame having the front surface which extends along the direction of gravity disposes the first opening of the mask frame corresponding to all of the plurality of second openings of the initial mask along the direction of gravity.
Abstract:
Provided is a mask which includes a mask body having a plurality of through hole portions and including a polymer film and a plurality of magnetic particles dispersed in the polymer film, and a polymer coating layer disposed on an outer surface of the mask body. Accordingly, the time and cost of manufacturing a mask are reduced and the precision of a deposition process is improved as well, so that the manufacturing yield of a display panel using the mask is improved and a display panel manufactured using the same has improved reliability.
Abstract:
A mask repairing apparatus may include a stage, a stereoscopic imaging unit to measure a stereoscopic image of a mask on the stage, a control unit to compare the stereoscopic image with a normal image of the mask and to produce a defect image of the mask, and a laser unit to irradiate a laser beam onto a deficient part of the mask, under control of the control unit. The control unit may control the laser unit, based on the defect image, such that the laser beam is sequentially irradiated onto m multiple layers of the deficient part while repeatedly moving in a first direction and a second direction crossing each other.
Abstract:
Provided is a mask having a plurality of cell areas, each of which has a plurality of through-portions defined therein. The mask includes a mask film including a polymer and a conductive layer disposed on at least one surface of the mask film and including conductive metal or a conductive metal oxide. Accordingly, precision of a deposition process is enhanced while reducing process time and costs in a manufacturing process of the mask, and thus the yield in manufacturing a display panel using the mask is improved. Therefore, the display panel manufactured using the mask may have improved reliability.
Abstract:
