Abstract: Methods and systems for processing audio for a user include identifying an interactive zone of the user as the user is interacting with a video game in a real-world environment. The real-world environment is monitored to detect any changes that can affect the interactive zone. Responsive to detecting changes, a volume of the audio directed to one side or both side of a headphone providing the audio to one or both ears of the user is dynamically adjusted. The adjustment to the audio is to prevent the user from getting distracted while interacting with the video game.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating nonplayer characters are described. An artificial intelligence (AI) model is trained based on gameplay by one or more users to generate the nonplayer characters. The nonplayer characters have similar gameplay characteristics as that of a game character controlled by one of the users. The AI model is trained to have a percentage of gameplay characteristics learned from gameplay by the one the users and a percentage of gameplay characteristics from gameplay by another one of the users.

Abstract: A method for generating game duration metrics includes assembling a gaming session for a game, with the gaming session identifying a first player and a second player, and accessing a database that includes an historical duration metric for playing the game by each of the first player and the second player. The predicted time metrics provide an estimated duration time for play of the gaming session. The method further includes executing the gaming session for the first player and the second player. Abstract: Methods of the present disclosure may also identify when certain users perform well at certain activities and perform poorly when performing other activities. A particular user could perform very well at a swimming game yet perform poorly at the first-person shooter game. This performance difference may be based on a physical impairment, be based on a lack of training, or be based on other factors. When a potential performance deficiency is identified, a user may be provided with a set of selections that allow the user to participate in a training session or that may allow the user to change functions of a gaming controller to account for the apparent performance deficiency. This additional training or change in controller functions may allow a user to have a more enjoyable user experience or may allow the user to perform at a higher level.

Abstract: Systems and methods for emotion detection and emotion-based moderation based on voice inputs are provided. A user emotion profile may be stored in memory for a user. The user emotion profile may include one or more moderation rules that specifies a moderation action responsive to one or more emotional states. A current communication session associated with the user and one or more other users may be monitored based on the user emotion profile. An emotional state detected as being associated with a subset of the messages may trigger at least one of the moderation rules by corresponding to at least one of the emotional states specified by the user emotion profile. A presentation of at least one of the messages in the subset being provided to the user device may be modified in accordance with the moderation action specified by the user emotion profile.

Abstract: A system and method for providing automated intervention in a virtual environment is disclosed. Intervention settings for a user are stored, wherein the intervention settings for the user includes one or more customized intervention triggers each corresponding to one or more trigger conditions and an intervention response. A current session associated with a user device of the user is monitored, wherein monitoring the current session includes analyzing interactions between the user and one or more other users in a virtual environment of the current session based on the intervention settings. One of the intervention triggers is identified as having occurred in the current session based on detecting the corresponding trigger conditions in the virtual environment. A workflow associated with the intervention response that corresponds to the identified intervention trigger is modulated based on the interactions between the user and the other users in the virtual environment. The intervention response is executed in the virtual environment of the current session based on the modulated workflow.
