摘要: A system comprising one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions that cause the one or more processors to perform operations: receiving first real-world geolocation data, generating one or more first virtual encounters based at least in part upon the first real-world telematics data and the first real-world geolocation data; generating one or more second virtual encounters based at least in part upon the first real-world environmental data and the first real-world geolocation data; providing a first virtual map; providing a first virtual character associated with the first real-world user; and simulating the first virtual map and the first virtual character in a virtual game, simulating at least one of (i) the one or more first virtual encounters or (ii) the one or more second virtual encounters for the first virtual map and for the first virtual character. Other embodiments are described.

摘要: Exemplary venues allow for members of an audience at different locations within these venues to simultaneously interact with an interactive content. The interactive content can convey one or more requisite actions to be performed by the members of the audience. However, the one or more requisite actions can reach members of the audience at different instances in time. These exemplary venues can effectively compensate for these different instances in time such that the accuracy and/or the synchronization of one or more response actions, which are performed by the members of the audience in response to the one or more requisite actions, can be characterized as no longer being dependent upon their distance from the interactive content. Rather, the accuracy and/or the synchronization of the one or more response actions by the members of the audience to the one or more requisite actions can be considered as being related to the performance, for example, timing, of the one or more response actions themselves.

摘要: Method and system for generating virtual encounters. For example, the method includes determining first real-world driving characteristics based upon first real-world telematics data of a first real-world user, generating a first virtual map based upon first real-world geolocation data, presenting the first virtual map in a virtual game, generating first virtual encounters based upon the first real-world driving characteristics and first real-world environmental data, applying the first virtual encounters to the first virtual map for a first virtual character to experience, determining second real-world driving characteristics based upon second real-world telematics data of a second real-world user, generating a second virtual map based upon second real-world geolocation data, presenting the second virtual map in the virtual game, generating second virtual encounters based upon the second real-world driving characteristics and second real-world environmental data, and applying the second virtual encounters to the second virtual map for a second virtual character to experience.

摘要: An interactive play apparatus comprising: an input device configured to receive an input from a user, one or more communications interfaces, and one or more processors, wherein the one or more processors are configured to: detect one or more electronic devices; for each detected electronic device, determine one or more capabilities of said electronic device; receive one or more inputs via the input device; determine one or more user-perceptible play actions based at least in part on the received one or more inputs; translate the determined one or more play actions into one or more instructions operable to cause one or more of the detected electronic devices to perform one or more functions that at least approximate the determined one or more play actions; wherein the translation is based at least in part on the detected one or more capabilities of the respective detected electronic devices; cause the one or more of the detected electronic devices to perform said one or more functions.

摘要: An apparatus for entertaining an entertainee in a passenger vehicle includes an infotainment system having an automotive assistant that executes a spatially-cognizant entertainment application that interacts with the entertainee. In doing so, the automotive assistant receives information about the vehicle's environment from peripheral devices connected to the infotainment system. This provides the entertainment application with spatial intelligence that it then uses while interacting with the entertainee.

摘要: A sensor event detection and tagging system that analyzes data from multiple sensors to detect an event and to automatically select or generate tags for the event. Sensors may include for example a motion capture sensor and one or more additional sensors that measure values such as temperature, humidity, wind or elevation. Tags and event detection may be performed by a microprocessor associated with or integrated with the sensors, or by a computer that receives data from the microprocessor. Tags may represent for example activity types, players, performance levels, or scoring results. The system may analyze social media postings to confirm or augment event tags. Users may filter and analyze saved events based on the assigned tags. The system may create highlight and fail reels filtered by metrics and by tags.

摘要: Theme parks host visitors' games, watched by remote viewers (esports). Games are played on visitors' phones. A game can involve searching for clues indoors and outdoors. A game can be played at night for a live daytime audience. Parks have portals simulating sending items between parks. An item is put into a portal, copies appear at other portals. An item is put into a portal, items of other types appear at multiple portals. An item is put into a portal, a copy appears at a randomly picked portal. A portal gets an item representing a young individual (eg. kitten), an item representing an older individual (eg. cat) appears at another portal. Visitors and viewers can join teams. A team can span different parks. A portal can be controlled by a team.

摘要: A method of providing an enhanced gaming experience includes steps of sensing environmental audio with at least one microphone of an earpiece, combining a game sound with the environmental audio to provide a composite audio signal, and transducing the composite audio signal at the earpiece. The game sound may be positioned within a three-dimensional audio environment. The composite audio signal may be transduced to provide a three-dimensional audio experience.

摘要: Systems and methods for modeling acoustic and lighting to provide improved immersion in a virtual reality and/or augmented reality environment are provided. In one aspect, systems and methods are provided to promote “improved augmented reality” which increases the realism and/or presence of virtual objects in the user's real environment. In some embodiments, changes in the user's actual room lighting are modeled in the virtual world to have a similar effect. In other embodiments, systems and methods are provided to promote immersion of a user in a virtual environment by extending the virtual world into the user's real world room. In this embodiment, lighting and/or sound from the virtual world is used to simulate the same or similar properties in the users actual, or real world environment, thereby improving virtual reality.
